restless:
What is your purpose posting at this message board?
At first it was to explain my experience with researching Raelism and hoping to hear from any Ex-Raelians and later as
I scrolled through this thread, to learn more behind Rael's motives and such.

The Raelian group has cloned no one and uses various publicity stunts simply to garner attention and feed Vorilhon's seemingly insatiable ego.
The Raelian group appears to be little more than a con, run by Claude Vorilhon, to fund his lifestyle.
You are going back and forth, almost as if you are playing a game here.
I'm sorry. Perhaps I was rather obsessed with how he came up with his story and whether it is true he lied plus
if they actually... You know.

Do you somehow think Vorilhon's stories and/or claims reflect reality?
I certainly did at first but as time went by, I am beginning to see the far-fecthes of it yet a part of me still fears the possibility of it being true.
Especially when I read some of Rael's claims such as the prophets like Buddha and Jesus having been doing the Elohim's dirty work but
that their messages were messed up and of course when I read a short review on one of Rael's books on Amazon.
He said stuff like "Yeah that stuff seems far-fetched but its not..." and was praising the text as "Scientific interpretation of the bible".
But even if it is all true, I swear by my life I would never join Rael or follow his philosophy and I was raised in a Christian community where
we believe God as a loving, merciful and selfless entity, not an alien who wants us to love ourselves, sexual and make clones of ourselves.
(To be honest, I'm not really a christian but my friends and familt still accept me. Compare that with Rael's values!)
