This news will bring complex emotions to the many who survived abuse from Andrew Cohen.

Cohen prided himself on not sexually abusing followers. His abuse took these forms:

*Physical

*Social (ostracism, scapegoating

*Time theft lost years and lost attention that could have born sweeter fruit if given to better causes than Andrew Cohen and his ego

* Financial extortion

*Filming and recording humiliated disciples without their consent and keeping these recordings

Cohen's former disciples were also trash talked and sneered at by the following:

* Andrew Cohen's much abused lieutenants who split off and denied their own anguish by becoming victim perpetrators. These persons shamed, jeered at Cohen's many outspoken victims and trolled them mercilessly online

* The many who never suffered at Cohen's hands directly or endured hardship from any other guru, but who glorified abusive gurus and sneered that empathy and compassion are for weaklings while glorifying abuse proves one is of the elite

Last but by no means least:

* Ken Wilber, who used his own fame and media network to publicize Cohen, give him legitimacy, justified and enabled Cohen's vile behavior claiming cruelty is necessary for spiritual development.
