This is re Struthers: Sinister Minister Dolores. May God have mercy on those she was teacher, Minister, boss, always horrifying boss/ leader to.

Sinister Minister ruled Glasgow for way too long.A vote should have been taken re her expulsion but no the tantrum took place. She took control by behaving like a 2 year old. In response to Liz did she look cuddly no was she dark, some may say so. We don't think of folks as dark, very peculiar indeed.

This short expression of grave concern and reflection has been written by Ensemble, a group of us who experienced years of Dolores domination, abomination. We believe the effects of that era, wearily rumble on. We have heard not least in the elevation of old people not long married in some of the churches.
Some still mourn, weep , consider their destiny lost and others rejoice , quietly of course, lest the sensitivities of some family & others are stirred to inconsolable, gut renching, weeping on a grand scale. But, we as a group write in total love and ongoing forgiveness remembering the words of Ron Weasley. ( See below quote). Throughout we will use random initials at points, if the shoe fits then wear it. But no one will be named. Please be aware Dolores is a pseudonym for a past leader of the Glasgow church.

We heard Dementor Dolores ran Glasgow, well almost ran it into the gutter for 30 weary years, given the rampant, dictatorial style, stark, stonking, favouritism, total exclusion of many, appalling, warped, deranged, interpretation and lack of knowledge of the bible. Thats not to mention her stupid talks on Sundays. They could never be described as preaching that would be an insult to true preaching. They were more like talking diaries of her family's lives, we found it such a struggle to remain awake, what total Cra.... ham spam. Everyone under 35 in a circle being given, ' a life changing word' by Dolores. Great excitement abounded, anticipation of maybe getting some life altering word! Lots of people were emotionally damaged after these sessions, it was an emotional battlefield/ war zone. " Did you get a good word? Did you get a z...Sh....word,? my ....will be furious but l need to try harder...self doubt, anxiety, sleep deprivation , identity crisis, eating issues it was endless, but it gave her total control, dominance, but we were all so young....We are now totally with it, humble adults.
The body image, eating disorders were huge. The daughter of one stifflingly close to Dolores looked very ill with anorexia. We know she is doing a lot better now and wish her well.
Below were some regular Dolores statements to many, tragic, but shockingly true:

F2: "you totally drain me . ( Drained... we were exhausted listening to her). When will you submit to me because in this church you are going
nowhere until you do, DOlm exhausted with th YOU HEAR ME? Sadly the whole camp could hear, it was very public and totally humiliating.
"G-ill at camp again, its disgraceful lm exhausted because you need set free; is and it upsets my boy. STOP being ill. I demand that" Really, Mmm.
So now Dolores controls illness, says it all.

We as a group considered our social circle & work places and found there to be illness around. However, it is true there could be a very small number complaining endlessly that they are very ill due to, say PVFS/ M.E./ viruses and the more general psychosomatic group of perceived illness.
(We know you will understand the latter. Your identity was previously shared as you know). This may provide time away from church whilst running around leading normal lives or being cocooned in their homes. We consider, Possibly that minute minority need some mental health support, psychiatric assessment, anti depressants or talk therapy. We say that with complete compassion. PLEASE NOTE A small NUMBER OF US LIVE very ACTIVE LIVES WHILST LIVING WITH MAJOR ILLNESS. IN NO WAY ARE WE HAVING A PROD AT THOSE WHO ARE genuinely ILL. We just need to speak truth to your question.
Meanwhile, there are others with Parkinsons, major sensory impairment, MS, autoimmune disease and various types of cancer as well as neurological conditions & heart disease , actively leading fully functional lives. So essentially and kindly we don't agree Rensil, but critical analysis seems to be allowed on the forum. We heard, David Blunkett- home secretary ( long time ago) and totally blind. Apparently Worked very hard and lnspirational to many.
William Wilberforce- Abolitionist- William Wilberforce suffered from chronic ill health throughout his life, most notablysevere ulcerative colitis, a spinal curvature, and failing eyesight. He had a zest for life and unstoppable drive to see slavery abolished. He never gave in to apathy or laziness. We say that with compassion & conviction.

As a group we also thought on these people working tirelessly in service to our Wonderful Saviour:
Billy Graham- parkinsons disease, almost blind.He continued working, preaching, teaching & writing.
Amy Carmichael- Severe pain- continued teaching- -lnspirational speaker and writer as well as active preacher. Leads an active, outgoing life.
None of the above significantly ill people cocooned away failing to love life, quite the opposite they were and are trail blazers. Continued to preach & write. Thanks be to God.
Possibly a very small number could benefit from psychiatric support reflecting wider society.

Everyone under 35 in a circle being given, ' a life changing word' by Dolores. Great excitement abounded, anticipation of maybe getting some life altering word! Lots of people were emotionally damaged after these sessions, it was an emotional battlefield/ war zone. " Did you get a good word? Did you get a z...Sh....word,? my ....will be furious but l need to try harder...self doubt, anxiety, sleep deprivation , identity crisis, eating issues it was endless, but it gave her total control, dominance, but we were all so young....We are now totally with it, humble adults.
The body image, eating disorders were huge. The daughter of one stifflingly close to Dolores looked very ill with anorexia. We know she is doing a lot better now and wish her well.

nowhere until you do, DOlm exhausted with th YOU HEAR ME? Sadly the whole camp could hear, it was very public and totally humiliating.

NB: ln answer to the question Rensil We believe that not to be the case.
We as a group considered our social circle & work places and found there to be illness around. However, it is true there could be a very small number complaining endlessly that they are very ill due to, say PVFS/ M.E./ viruses and the more general psychosomatic group of perceived illness.
(We know you will understand the latter. Your identity was previously shared as you know). This may provide time away from church whilst running around leading normal lives or being cocooned in their homes. We consider, Possibly that minute minority need some mental health support, psychiatric assessment, anti depressants or talk therapy. We say that with complete compassion. PLEASE NOTE A small NUMBER OF US LIVE very ACTIVE LIVES WHILST LIVING WITH MAJOR ILLNESS. IN NO WAY ARE WE HAVING A PROD AT THOSE WHO ARE genuinely ILL. We just need to speak truth to your question.
Meanwhile, there are others with Parkinsons, major sensory impairment, MS, autoimmune disease and various types of cancer as well as neurological conditions & heart disease , actively leading fully functional lives. So essentially and kindly we don't agree Rensil, but critical analysis seems to be allowed on the forum. We would politely & kindly point out and reinforce we don't consider genuine illness to be the issue. Indeed we have found some very seriously ill people an inspiration, see below:

Steve Darling (Liberal Democrat MP for Torbay): Registered blind due to Stargardt disease, a progressive genetic eye disorder. Works constantly.
Dr. Marie Tidball (Labour MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge): A visibly physically disabled researcher and politician who advocates for disability dignity and inclusion. Busy working.
Daisy Cooper (Liberal Democrat MP for St Albans): Serves as deputy leader of her party and has spoken openly about living with endometriosis. Lives in extreme pain, remains active.( works constantly.)
Jeremy Balfour (Scottish Conservative MSP for Lothian): A member of the Scottish Parliament who has been disabled since birth and works hard on inclusive policy representation. Works.
We heard, David Blunkett- home secretary ( long time ago) and totally blind. Apparently Worked very hard and lnspirational to many.
William Wilberforce- Abolitionist- William Wilberforce suffered from chronic ill health throughout his life, most notablysevere ulcerative colitis, a spinal curvature, and failing eyesight. He had a zest for life and unstoppable drive to see slavery abolished. He never gave in to apathy or laziness. We say that with compassion & conviction.

As a group we also thought on these people working tirelessly in service to our Wonderful Saviour:
Billy Graham- parkinsons disease, almost blind.He continued working, preaching, teaching & writing.
Amy Carmichael- Severe pain- continued teaching- -lnspirational speaker and writer as well as active preacher. Leads an active, outgoing life.
None of the above significantly ill people cocooned away failing to love life, quite the opposite they were and are trail blazers. Continued to preach & write. Thanks be to God.
Possibly a very small number could benefit from psychiatric support reflecting wider society.

Haven’t been on the forum for quite a time, but it’s good to see that a new separate posting re Dolores has been made. I hope that others who were under Dolores’ reign who are not part of ensemble will join this part of the forum to get support or to simply voice and make known the years of abuse.
No offence to us older ones I.e. those who can get a free bus pass, but it’s great to see a younger generation coming forward.
Years ago someone of my age group attended the youth camp and was part of the ‘circle time’ and what was Said to them was abhorrent…..when you actually read it all it is mind boggling to think that one, a supposed Christian leader could not only think these things but say them and two, that the other leaders allowed it to happen.
I was one of the older lot who did voice concerns to another leader but alas I was manipulated into thinking I was in the wrong and told to stay away from her because she was very upset !! She didn’t like me very much neither did her ‘mini Dolores’ but I think that may have been a good thing?
Have a good week where ever you all are…..May all glory go to our wonderful saviour.
