STATEMENT

Decision to Hold back Relationship with Christianity Daily Until the Suspicion is Dissolved

Northern California Korean Churches Association (8 Associations) held its monthly meeting at Canyon Creek Korean Church on August 11th and consequently the members have agreed to the following position on the matter.

1. Until all the suspicion about Christianity Daily is clearly dissolved, we will temporarily hold back support to Christianity Daily, and the Northern California Korean Churches Association will conduct it own investigation in the matter. This decision was made in consideration of the press conference held in Los Angeles on July 17th by Rev. Dr. Thomas Wang, a speaker at upcoming 2008 Northern California Mission Conference to be held from August 28th to 31st, where Dr. Wang made a statement about strong theological suspicion he has on Christianity Daily’s founder and where Dr. Wang sent a warning to other church leaders. Our decision was also based on the findings of the Independent Enquiry Committee of Hong Kong and the fact that the Heretical Inquiry Consultation Committee members of the Christian Council of Korea (CCK) are currently conducting their own investigation in the matter.

2. Northern California Korean Churches Association (8 Associations) hereby affirms that we will proceed with our comprehensive research to protect the evangelical faith of all the member Associations, member churches and individual members within our organization; and to assist them in maintaining the righteous and sensible Christian life.

3. In addition, we would like to ask each church and members to accept those brothers and sisters with warmth if they truly repent and return to us from any suspicious organizations, and to assist those brethren to settle well within our established churches.

<a href="[www.mercurynews.com]; target="_blank">News media</a> reports that Olivet University, a David Jang's education organization, is to obtain vast lands in California and Massachusetts to enlarge their campuses in this April.

There is strong anticipation how is it possible for Olivet to fund purchasing these huge properties?

Toward this question, Dr. Wagner, a spokesperson for David Jang, answered to the media that <a href="[davidianwatcher.blogspot.jp]; target="_blank">Christian Today and its family organizations</a> will provide the fund.

Dr. Wagner also said that WEA, World Evangelical Alliance, where David Jang is a board member, will fund for the vast lands acquisition.

It is known that David Jang, who is former executive member of Moonies, has been admired as “Second Coming Christ” by his followers. This fact was evidenced in Seoul, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

In Korea, there is a long controversy over David Jang’s Heresy. CCK, Christian Council of Korea, is known for her permissive stance to the heresy. However, most recently, 20 major denominations protested to and withdrew from the CCK.

These 20 denominations formed <a href="[www.amennews.com]; target="_blank">“Korean Churches Alliance”</a> in end of this March to persist their Anti-Davidian position. PCK HapDong and PCK HapShin, whose membership is over one million, are involved in this new alliance.

The Korean Churches Alliance has strong concern for possible abuse of the WEA funding to help the David Jang’s Heresy.

Second Coming Christ Question Following

Christianity Today, a major monthly magazine of Evangelicals in USA, posted second article on David Jang's Second Coming Christ Question after it's first investigative report.

Title: "The Second Coming Christ Controversy: More Leaders Speak Out"
URL [www.christianitytoday.com]

In it, Edmond and Susan Chua, who'd been members of David Jang's "Community" and was publisher of The Christian Post Singapore Edition, courageously came out and testified that "I believe David Jang as Second Coming Christ" and prayed to Jang as "God".

David Jang side is now threatening Chuas and to bring the couple to lawsuite.

Pray for Chuas that they may be protected from all the attacks of Jang the False Christ.

I would be careful and so some research before associating with this group. David Jang has roots in the Unification Church of Sun Myung Moon, and some followers consider him the Second Coming of Christ, according to this link:
