Conspiracy theories help people think they're on an exclusive path to learning the "truth " . They give the false perception that believing in them will make you look like a genious once the truth is revealed to everybody on the outside.

Not all theories are correct and not all are wrong.
I have experienced and seen things with my eyes that no conspiracy theory can even cover. This is why I try to keep an open mind.
But I do understand that it can be extremely disturbing to one’s peace of mind.
Discernment is key.
