Yeah looks like it. If someone's post history shows a very predictable, unchangeable and dismissive opinion, maybe there's no point in engaging them.

A troll, in other words. Agreed.

The Whirlwind seems to be quite clear on his position. He sees the wrong things that Iskcon is doing. He is also defending the Founder who brought the philosphy to the East.
Krishna Consciousness is not made of a body of people. It is not something a person joins or leaves.
It is just a more intimate, personal relationship with “God” (for those who believe).
I have only written a mild version of how the mystical forces brought me to this path. I could also write a few pages about the mystical forces after I left the “group”.
We do not all have the same views, relation with “deities”, experiences.
Whirlwind has possibly a strong relation to the Deity he has related to for decades.
I remember when I first started my journey, a girl told me that he offered a drink to Krishna and thought in her mind “I am sorry I am not offering this with love”.
As she was thinking this, the volume of the drink went down by half.
I have friends who told me that the picture of Krishna or other deities winked at them.
These are not hallucinations and how many people can possibly be psychotic?
What he is going through is not very different from a Christian saying the priest molested him but he still relates and connects to Jesus.
I know a few people who get divorced but cannot cut the contact with the in laws they are super close to. And the in laws do not reject them just because they divorced a son, brother....
Not throwing the baby out with the bath water is not a bad thing.
As I said it before, he can find a much more conducive platform to talk about him keeping his faith despite a very toxic enviroment.
His experiences have as much value as anybody else’s and may help people who are in the same position.
This is just not the right place to do it. It is a clash of opinions and beliefs.
This forum is full of hurt people. People who say they are still healing from the damage Iskcon and SoI caused them after 20 years.
We must really pay attention to the saying “this is not the right place nor the right time for ......”.

ISKCON is a cult (as I have said over and over again) and I am here to educate others about it.

I have every right to express myself as I see fit (within the rules of decorum, within the rules of this message board, and according to the very title of this thread).

Here is the bottom line: if you do not like my participation here, then tough noogies. I have every right to be here, same as yourself. This is not your support group. This is a semi-public message board that we are both participating in. If a support group is what you are looking for, then may I humbly suggest you seek professional help.

For my own part, I see a counselor twice a month and go to monthly in-person support groups. There's no shame in it.

Now let's get back on topic, shall we?

Yeah, and I am one of them. I'm hurt too. If you do not like my being here, then that's too bad. I am not doing anything wrong.

From now on, I will ignore facet and not respond to the troll at all.

Nonsense. He brought it to the West, FROM the East. Are you sure you know what you're talking about, Truth Wins?

I wish you healing from the hurt and abuse you experienced in Iskcon.
I am sorry you totally took what I said the wrong way.
I suggested you start a blog or a new post on that specific topic.
I specifically came to this forum to expose SoI, to heal from the spiritual trauma and find people from my own group, which I did.
I did not come in here to argue about off topic subjects.
If I have offended you in any way, I appologize. I am far from being perfect.
I have overreacted to the comments on my post while I should have just ignored them.
I said that you could help other people who are in your position.
Disappointed with the Iskcon politics but still attached to your faith and practices. It was what I thought to be a constructive suggestion.
I had no ill intentions whatsoever. Or suggested you should not be in this forum.
Who am I to decide who ahoild and should not be here.
Since we can neither block others or delete our posts in here, we must learn to be more tolerant and civil. This goes for me too. Not just saying it to others.
However I guess that everything I wrote was seen from a negative side. There is clearly a massive misunderstanding going on.
I am very grateful you pointed out my ignorance on the subject.
I did not even know ACB brought this philosophy to the West. I thought it was the opposite. LOL! Seriously?
You had to point that “”inattention” mistake out in such a sarcastic manner?
Or maybe you assumed that I am THAT clueless.
Not sure which one is worse. You being sarcastic or thinking that I have such a low IQ. Lol!
Time to put into practice “It is just your false ego” teachings and let it roll off my back.
Take care. Hope we can be a bit more “respectful” to each other in the future.
