Yes, very interesting that Tony Moo is sniffing around, trying to find out who spoke to Be Scofield. As someone else wrote here, if what what was published in Be's article was all lies, how on Earth would it matter to Tony who made these lies up?

Anyone could have made up the lies! Why would it be one one of his former followers (and member of his inner circle) that concocted the lies? What could their motivation for doing so possibly be? That they were disgruntled because they didn't receive "instant enlightenment" over there at Monte Sahaja?

Or that there 'instant enlightenment' wasn't to their exact liking? So then they run off to speak to a journalist and make up a whole lot of stuff that makes Tony look bad. Yeah.

That just makes no freaking sense whatsoever!

The fact is that former inner circle Moo Cult members spoke to Be Scofield and reported to her accurately what they had experienced. You know this, I know this and Tony knows this.

Tony is scared and he is losing his marbles.

No doubt more former cult members will come forward and in the coming weeks and months.

The farcical allegation that people like me and others are being paid to expose the great Moo is unbelievable. I wish to God I were being paid!!! That would be wonderful. All I have got from all this is a migraine.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been reading this thread for awhile now. I want to share a video that might help people who have been with Mooji understand their own experience. It focuses on the devotee instead of him. He gets a thrill off of this thread, by the way. Narcissists do love all press, negative as well. It shows you can’t stop thinking of him. That he’s got you too. It’s very sick. He also uses his trauma to manipulate people’s hearts here at Sahaja. It’s a tool to stir compassion and compliance and protection. He doesn’t mind the fighting and mean words from his followers attacking others. He revels in it. He will say he doesn’t. These are the games he plays because he can’t actually connect with people. After a bit people bore him. He says it so as to keep people wanting to entertain him. It’s very scary when someone with NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disprder) feels cornered. Maybe not for you but it increases the pressure and danger for all of those near him.

Here is what we go through. Can you relate?

Thank you for this thread. I’m not afraid of Mooji. Hiding my identity is strategic.
He has no idea that I know what he’s doing. That’s the only way to get away from him. I’m going to find my way out. I will post all I know then. When I am safe.

Mooji knows what he is doing is wrong. How to tell?

He knows not to act the way he does here at retreats. He is very different there. He is selling there. Here he doesn’t have to anymore. He has us.

So we see a different Mooji. The closer you get the more you see. This is how to know he’s manipulating. If he didn’t know he’d act the way he does here at retreats.

It’s on purpose and he does NOT care. It’s a game.

We need to demand more about information about healthcare/lack of health care in Moo's fiefdoms.

Meanwhile, many have alleged how people are subjected to hurtful, humiliating laughter at Moo satsangs.

(Must ask whether laughter is used to humiliate people who attend Mooji groups outside of Monte Sahaja. Is perpetration of humiliating laughter used to identify useful recruits? Weed out dissenters?)

Here's a concept: weaponized laughter as a means of humiliation and social control.

I collected some material here. Please feel free to add your own examples.

[forum.culteducation.com]

Meanwhile, in addition to demanding that visitors to Sahaja be fully informed as to actual health care at Monte Sahaja, let's ask what happens in the various Moo satsang meetings taking place all over the world.

Who gets to be or remain leader of a local Moo group? Can anyone start such group? Are leaders ousted or appointed by Monte Sahaja?

Is there any financial gain if one is leader of a local Moo group?

What role if any does a local Moo group play in recruitment or PR?

Do OSHO sanyassins play any role in local Moo groups?

Do these take place in renter spaces?

Are their finances fully disclosed?

Do any Moo groups own or plan to own property?

Has anyone ever incurred harm or humiliation whilst member of a Moo group?

Who runs a Moo group? How is a leader selected? Is leadership on a rotating basis or determined by social status, wealth or possession of a domineering personality?

Are Moo groups good neighbors?

Have you been told to keep secrets?

Corboy

Well, your questions are easy to answer.

As being in a local group and knowing also about how some others organize their gatherings i can give you some insider information.

Who gets to be or remain leader of a local Moo
group? Can anyone start such group? Are leaders
ousted or appointed by Monte Sahaja?

There is no real leader of a local Sangha group. If you open your apartment for a meeting and organize a bit and send the invitations you are the host.

Is there any financial gain if one is leader of a
local Moo group?

Anyone can start a group and no one is chosen by Monte Sahaja.
The meetings are completely non-commercial, the host can provide snacks or drinks or the participants bring something with them.

What role if any does a local Moo group play in
recruitment or PR?

There is no recruitment or advertising for the groups.

This is also not recommended by the international Sangha support.

Do OSHO sanyassins play any role in local Moo
groups?

There is no special connection to Osho but there are certainly also former Osho devotees in Mooji groups.

Alone because of the size of the former Osho movement this is nothing special.
People from all religious and philosophical backgrounds attend Mooji meetings.

Do these take place in renter spaces?

Most Sangha groups meet in private apartments. Most groups are quite small maybe only
5-10 people.No need to rent a place.

Are their finances fully disclosed?

Since the meetings are completely free of charge, there is no financial overview to publish.

Do any Moo groups own or plan to own property?

I don't know anything about this but most meetings are just a small amount of people meeting in private apartments. I doubt they plan to buy any property for this.

Has anyone ever incurred harm or humiliation
whilst member of a Moo group?

I have never heard anything like that.

Who runs a Moo group? How is a leader selected? Is
leadership on a rotating basis or determined by
social status, wealth or possession of a
domineering personality?

There is no real leader of a local sangha group. If you open your apartment for a meeting and organize a bit and send the invitations you are the host. The host role might change from time to time depending on who is available to organize and host the meetings.

Are Moo groups good neighbors?

No complaints so far from our neighbours. ;-)

Have you been told to keep secrets?

No, and who should tell us to keep what kind of secrets.
There is no leadership from the Sahaja Ashram to the local groups.
Local groups are completely independent.

So i hope all your questions are answered.

Regards

Janet

Hi everyone!

My name is Annette Chappelle, when Mooji knew me I had left my fiancé who is now my husband and “walked out of my life” to go spend time with Mooji. Luckily for me, my fiancé kept tabs on me and was the one who picked me up from San Francisco Airport when the saga came to a close and we are now happily married in a beautiful location doing very well.

I don’t hate Mooji. I am wise to him. I was lucky because life let me see him even with my crazy love. I was a deluded seeker and in total love with his “brand”. I felt I will go see him in the flesh and enjoy time with an awaken Master, in his own home, day in and day out. I couldn’t be luckier.

Lucky for me I also have a graduate degree in psychology and have spent a lot of time in my career with criminals and am wise to their games. I also was sexually harassed at work one time and so I know what abuse of power looks like. I know what being “groomed” looks like and feels like. I also know when to hide it. I have also had enough other trauma in my life that I am hyper vigilant in new settings automatically without choice. I also love Truth more than any person, even myself. So all these factors got me out of there and broke the spell.

The final straw actually happened in London at a meeting I had with Mooji in between satsangs. In this meeting, as I had just had another “grooming encounter” with Mooji just prior, I threw out a test. He knew me well by then, we had spent time together in Sahaja. He had a good feel for me and it really threw him off. He got angry. Others in the meeting said they saw this without me ever mentioning it. See in that netting I told Mooji that I loved other teachers too. Any healthy person would not have minded that. But Mooji said “we ask for a different kind of commitment” and that was it. He was displeased that I would say this and feel this way. I have spoken to many others at retreats and via emails. Mooji doesn’t want people to follow other teachers AFTER you have gotten close or been chosen. He sees it as rejection. That was the end of the spell. I refused him all my heart. He refused me anymore time with him.

Many things happened after this with him, his sangha that wee frightening and weird. Just like in Sahaja. I know a lot about him now. He has NPD in my opinion and from what I understand it has gotten worse. People there now have to sing to him daily. I’m very glad that life let me see him or I might have still felt with the absolute certainly that I see many others hold that he is who he says he is. He is not.

Thank you for the kind words about my post that I posted on Questioning Mooji page. Yes I took it down after Henri was going to use it to make another video without asking me and AFTER he had received the cease and desist request from a Mooji’s attorneys. I didn’t feel he was the correct person to speak on my behalf.

In closing I would like to say that if anyone is ever harassed by Mooji. I will step forward with them and speak to their attorneys. I will speak to any reporter as well. I could not care less about Mooji anymore and have a beautiful and happy life and wonderful friends and great support. He has no idea what he is going to encounter if he ever contacts me. I will never back down from him. I will go public and I will not stop.

To Mooji I will say. Yes you told me “I have a big heart” sitting on the wall outside with Krishnabai and Shree there. I do have a big heart and that heart will fight you for others. And many will help me. If I had known you were sleeping with Krishnabai I would NEVER have told you I wanted to be like her, Ananta and Shree. I would have ran before I knew you would kill a Heron, before I knew about the other women you have been with and before I learned of your anger and how you wield it to control others. I thought they would all have their own joy and their own truth and their own stories and freedom. They stare blankly at you, speak seldomly to anyone, have a lot of trauma and pain and still think you care as you shave their heads.

I personally know many that lie to your face. I know they give you what you want and that you are the neediest man on this planet. Some day they will see through you and find a way to get out of your shadow and then they will meet what they actually came there to find. They will meet Freedom. Much love to you Krishnabia. You are being used.

I watched what Amma Tanya White and Henri and a few others speaking out went through just for sharing their opinions and experiences. Also a few others on Facebook. I saw how they were attacked. It speaks of what kind of people Mooji breeds and nothing else. So it’s expected. A nice smear campaign and good counter story for anyone coming out in their own name. I can see already a few places they can go. Mentally ill, distorted perceptions, must have had her ego hurt, all the well wore patterns.

Trying to distract from the truth to protect their own certainty so they can feel safe through him. That’s why the attacks. Because if these things are true he isn’t who he says he is and they will feel confused not certain. That’s all the arguments are about. Any Questioning means they can’t be certain. Certainty and Pure Love is Mooji’s biggest appeals.

By the way I tried several times to resolve the situation with just Mooji. I won’t go into details. But I can say that I care nothing about any label of betrayal. I gave him quite a few chances. Before the opportunity came to speak to many many many people and Be just happened to come a calling. It was so natural just to share what I have shared with so many already to her.

There is more that never made it to her story because she just had too much and had to choose. I won’t name names or go into details here because I do think it would give Mooji time to come up with excuses and I think they will lie for him. But I understand this post is permanent and any member can email me here. So anyone can find me. And I will be very sure before I move forward they are legit.

I’m not sure I will participate much but I do think people doing research with an open mind has enough information here and on gururatings and reddit to get a feel for what is around Mooji and make an informed decision.

Be well and don’t let Mooji have anymore of your time than you need to sort it all out. Unless exposing him is your highest calling.

Yes Valma!

It’s a call for true FREEDOM. Not the enslavement that Mooji offers by controlling all authenticity and spontaneity and genuineness in those that work at Sahaja.

I wanted to shake them out of it. I saw behind their dull expressions, tears and complete obedience and submission to him was the opposite of FREEDOM. The environment is another thing I studied. How people jumped to get him what he needed. How he was like thier drug. You know he says “to live at the Masters feet is to live on top of the world” that explains why people bow at his feet then. It’s all a mirror of what he’s told them in private on full display, obedience and submission. For his “pure love” to lead them home. Entirely unnecessary but it does open the heart for him to play with it as he likes. A few times I literally laughed out loud as it was so ridiculous I thought it was a joke. Mooji each time looked at me and I expected him to smile. He did not. I guess Mooji could tell I hadn’t drank enough of the koolaid. So funny looking back on it all. How lost I was and how only by leaving him entirely could Life show me it’s full independence and freedom.

I’m glad my post confirmed what you already sensed Valma. You can trust yourself. You’ve been spared, my friend.

Hi snapping-out.

My heart is with them all too. We share that in common. Though they may hate me. I step up out of genuine love and respect for them. Truly.

Life gave me out of no where a large sum of money as well as everything else that I gave up to follow Mooji. And I have the discernment (and old worn used word for sure) around him that so few seem to be willing to develop. Another blessing is the friends I have now all speak about their own experiences and we have great dialogues and laugh and are genuinely happy. And there have been many shifts and deep understandings. I think if people at Sahaja could see what their lives could be like if they found the strength to get away and detox from Mooji’s NPD and really looked up the video on traumatic bonding, they would be UTTERLY AMAZED at what Life is going to give them.

One easy to see, double bind, which means we are playing a game of check mate with some who don’t want this all to be true is this:

If you speak anonymously then Be made it up or you are “disgruntled” or a coward.

If you go on the record Like Amma Tanya White has then you are just looking for attention and to make a name for yourself.

Another words. Don’t tell me what you are saying because I don’t want to know that M. isn’t who he claims to be. I don’t want to know he’s in shadow.

Those aren’t the people I bother with. They don’t deserve to know the truth. I speak to those who will use discernment on my statements and on M EQUALLY.

The rest are just playing a game of chess to check mate. Truth doesn’t play games!

I want to share one more thing about that meeting. After I told Mooji I loved other teachers by nodding when he was asking. He said “go be with them then” basically. And a friend of mine sitting opposite side of me at his feet on the ground was very out of it, he calls it “ripe”. Mooji asked for her hand to hold. In a few moments Mooji closed his eyes and holding my friends hand, my friends head fell forward and I caught her head in my hands. She was unconscious. We were all escorted down the hall and I remember looking back feeling very uneasy leaving her in there unconscious with Mooji. She re emerged and kept falling down and fainting all night. They wouldn’t let me by her, until Insay we were family. I won’t say more about her condition but I got an email from Shree saying she should have let us stay. After talking with my friend, I got a big surprise. After reading about hyponosis another surprise and after learning first hand accounts of the dirty work Shree does for M. my mind got another one.

It’s a lot clearer what M does to people now.

As I said I will be happy to speak to attorneys and or reporters. I don’t care about my image at all. I care about people like my friend and many others like her.

M can’t really touch me because I don’t have any investment in anything but truth. He can’t take that away from me. I have no weakness he can exploit. Because I don’t mind what comes if truth be told.

I have NO desire to gossip or bring M down or ruin his image or whatever people may say. The things I share were what I witnessed. But I won't give out anymore details.

I think for example the Bill Free interview will now disappear. One call. And it will be gone. See this is why NOT to share things on here. It would be like telling a criminal in jail, heybwe know this this and this and we know it's in your cell so sometime we may come get it. It would be careless and stupid.

So I will wait. I will check emails. This post will be here and someday someone will see I may be able to help them. This is who and why I am writing.

Thank you annette for you strength, it gives me great inspiration and courage.

I have been under the influence of M. during a pivotal moment in my life, starting a family and carreer. All of this turned out beautifully after all, but the process was definitely tainted with the limitations of cult indoctrination, and complacence with cult like phenomena.

Although the NPD manipulation will be more strongly felt in close proximity to the narc, I feel that ALL of M.s teaching is stained by his manipulative impulses, even if he isn't aware of it.

Having been raised by a narc and NPD father, and having come to the point where I could connect the dots and apply this same framework to M., I started to recognize the retoric and reflexes of protecting ones self image in him. I might even have to say that i recognize them AS an NPD father, although I hope that this recognition, and continuing reflection on its implications, might alleviate the impact on my own children.

And then to think that I had practically started attracting followers myself, before having truly seen through any of the seriously explosive problems that lure in the darkness that surrounds the guru. I can totally see myself falling into all of the traps that Mooji and other abusive "guru's" have fallen into. I love beautiful women, especially if they find me wonderful, I love sex, even now I am thinking get me a few nice lady disciples I wouldn't mind teaching them to surrender their ego's. Temptation island. But these elements would remain comfortably hidden in the shadow of any overt identity that I would allow myself to consciously embody, all the more dangerous...

I am glad that the intuition that I had, that I wasn't (yet) enlightened enough, that I had some more negative tendancies to work through, stayed with me long enough to prevent me from jumping in head first and drowning in the swamp of self aggrendizement.

Long enough for me to come to this forum and learn the necessary perspectives to assess the dangers and improve my 'discernment'... another one of those contaminated words, btw I love how we keep subtracting letters from M.'s name, it is a great metaphor for what remains of his false guru image when the truth about him is revealed.

Testimonial found on Facebook (perhaps better not mention the page in view of what Annette said just above?)

"After just hearing about the tragic death of Flo Camoin at Monte Sahaja I would like to share my experience after following Mooji for the past year. I met him in the 2017 season in Rishikesh for the first time during the open Satsangs. I was overwhelmed by the energy in Satsang and the many transformative stories and intense emotions people would expose. Although the frequent crying, screaming and appearance of many weird individuals as well as some exorcism-like episodes were scary in the beginning I would contribute this to his power as a teacher and was sure to have found a great master.

The empty smiles and stares of some of his disciples who welcomed the people at the entrance as well as his grandiose entry to Satsang at the International Yoga Festival at Parmarth, with drums, music and dozens of disciples surrounding him gave me a first bad taste of this being another person cult. Later I would attribute this impression to be resistance from my ego-mind and I tended to belittle the many signs of egoic behavior Mooji himself presented and the cult-like devotion around his body.

I was following Eckhart Tolles pointings for about 1 year before meeting Mooji and never witnessed such overtly demonstrated “enlightenment” and emotional outbursts and was sure this comes from truth, not being aware this could also be a form of hysteria (I noticed that it’s almost only women who scream and cry during Satsang)!

After returning from India I met with the local Mooji Sangha regularly and came in closer contact with long-term Mooji followers. Despite the very lovely and peaceful Satsang-field we created together (which reminded me of the following Bible passage: “For where two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Metthew 18:20) I was frequently irritated about the extreme centeredness around the person Mooji and the supposed superpowers attributed to him by some hardcore devotees.

Over time I found myself losing all interest in most worldly activities and would spend most of the day watching Satsang and immerse myself fully into Moojis pointings, teachings, opinions and worldviews without questioning his own ego and guru-identity anymore. I would interpret any criticism and irritation arising inside me as signs of my ego-mind and thus dismiss it immediately! In the beginning I was happy with the goal-oriented instant-awakening approach but over time this built up the pressure to “get it” fast or otherwise being stamped as a hopeless case. It clearly felt that this impatient goal-orientation could on the deepest level not be authentic and true! With hundreds of hours of Satsang in retreats, intensives, silent sittings, available on Youtube I noticed also a kind of addictiveness to listen to him.
Having no interest in pursuing a career anymore I found myself more and more in a financial and familial crisis and eventually slipped into a truly horrible dark night. I spoke to some people from the Sangha who expressed having similar problems and did not find Moojis statements on this topic very helpful, given the fact that he himself did not have to care of such matters for decades, living in a protected ashram-cocoon.

It so came to me spontaneously to investigate on this to see if there are other people who have problems leading a fulfilling life after following Moojis guidance for too long and I found the post about the suicide of Flo Camoin at the Monte Sahaja Ashram. I was very touched when reading this as I saw him in Rishikesh almost every day at Satsang. I remember that he made a very decent, peaceful and calm impression to me when diligently fulfilling his task of guiding the people to a sitting spot that very much touched me. Though we`ll probably never know what was going on in Flo that he decided to end his life, the fact that his suicide is only mentioned only very shortly at facebook and the Sangha is encouraged by the official Mooji facebook site to “keep silent” about this is somehow dubious. I spent many hours reading through other people’s testimonies of the cult-like dynamic that built up around Mooji and finally dropped the idea of a Guru who is the embodiment of God himself. And now it feels like a huge burden and heavy weight is finally lifted off my shoulders. I can breathe again and my Sadhana has come to a new level. I follow my own heart and embrace the immaculate beauty and beingness of nature again. Yes, Grace brought me to Mooji and yes, Grace let me drop the idea of him being special.

I write this to encourage people who feel stuck in their Sadhana and are in a similar position. The only true teacher is the Sadhguru within. Excessive worshipping and consuming one person’s thoughts and ideas can never be healthy and true, even if you abstract this in your mind to be impersonal! I saw how addictive his never ending stream of words in Satsang can be (Where is the sacred silence of Ramana?) and how many Sangha members lose interest in life about this. His pointings can be full of truth and deeply transformative but people around him should not forget that he too is a human being and not let the worshipping around his body slowly take excessive dimensions (just compare Satsangs from 2009 or even 2013 with now)."

Hello everyone. It's simply incredible to read all the posts here! I've been following this story, and can see that everything anyone needs to know is here on these pages!

It's great so many have now understood that "M" has Narcissistic personality disorder. I've read that if you've found yourself in a relationship with a "Narc" as an adult, chances are that one of your parents had NPD, and the kind of "control" you felt growing up was the only love you knew. Therefore as an adult in a new relationship (in this case - guru/disciple) you're blinded to what their doing, and actually experience it as "love." I bet if you took a poll, a great many of those at Sahaja sadly had either no father, a lousy father, or a father with NPD.

It would seem a big aspect of unraveling this cult is that people become educated about NPD, and learn that we've been "supply" to him. In understanding this, we can get free and cut off supply. Here's part of an article on Narc supply:

"Narcissistic Supply really refers to those people who provide a constant source of attention, approval, adoration, admiration, etc., for the narcissist. The attention they receive from the “Supply Source” is vital for the survival of the narcissist, without it they would die (either physically or metaphorically), because their weak ego depends on it in order to regulate their unstable self-worth and self-esteem. The narcissist perceives themselves as being very independent. They could not deal with the fact that they need anybody, because needing someone would imply some boundary to their power or imply that they are incomplete. Furthermore, they cannot tolerate any sign of independence and autonomy from their “supply”, this only serves to enrage them. The narcissistic supply is there to serve them, so they try to cement their source of supply into the role they have made for them, and there they remain under the narcissist’s control. Any deviation from this position on the part of their supply will end in punishment for the transgressor. So, like the Queen Bee, the narcissist is surrounded with a hive of worker bees, all in service to their needs, which ironically make them totally co-dependent on others for their survival."

Sounds extremely familiar to me!

I'm in agreement with a number of posts here that yes, there is no doubt that his minions are frantically combing over the comments here and promptly deleting content that they realize could be seen as damning to his "brand" (and their cash cow). Aside from deleting material, there are also many instances of the sudden modification of his "act."

There are numerous examples of this damage-control type behavior, and many damning things I could now point out, but yes as someone here said - that would let them know where to look, and exactly what to hide/modify. So, I'm going to button my lip with these observations and just let him leave the proof openly flapping in the breeze for all to see!

There will be a tipping point when enough have come forward exposing him in their own name. It appears to be getting closer everyday!

This happened. I know someone who confirms it.

“I lived at Sahaja for a time. One day three priests came from the town, one a bishop. They wanted to meet Mooji. We had to line the street and the men walked up and looked at all of us, Mooji stood directly behind them eye contact with each of us. We were told that we needed to make a good impression so Mooji could be accepted in this area of Portugal. Then a show was held, music and dancing. Two dancers. One red head, one black. The black woman wore no bra and a see through shirt. She danced a solo dance and you saw her nipples and everything else. This was in front of the priests and bishop. I was so confused and shocked. I felt this teased the men and disrespected their vow to celebrity. I wondered is this a European thing? Are they gay? I can’t tell you how weird and uncomfortable I felt for the men. Now I have been educated on what Mooji has done with women and know two personally as well as many who refused him but were tucked out by him going there. So tell me how this had anything to do with awakening? I don’t think people have a clue what is really going on there. It’s a complete waste of time and is dangerous if you are vulnerable and young. I saw the black woman around and her light had gone out. I couldn’t believe the man I loved named Mooji would use someone as a disquised stripper like dancer to gain influence or power over a church. I don’t understand what this was all about to this day. And it’s only 1 of 100s of stories that make no sense. Truth is suppose to lead to CLARITY not years of confusion and self doubt. I stopped telling anyone what my reactions really were, “it’s just your mind” was pretty easy to remember would be all anyone would say.“

Valma,

Flo was following M for many years. What did M say? It is written M said “God never tells anyone to do that.” Sounds like M is blaming Flo. And in non-duality isn’t all God?

Lack of empathy- NPD

No one allowed to speak of him. - control and silencing

Well at least this person showed love for him. I’m glad to read it. More than M said.
