Any knowledge on christian-ism?

When I was a young Christian, I went to several churches that taught what I've heard called "christian-ism", which is basically a religion loosly based on Jesus' teaches without taking His teachings seriously.

Does anyone have knowledge of any such organization?

They teach that you have to base what you believe more on your experiences in this life than what Jesus taught, and what the Bible teaches.

The promises our Heavenly Father made to His Children aren't allowed here?

Wow! What is the purpose of this website if God is locked out?

Again, no preaching please.

You should review the rules you agreed to.

See [board.culteducation.com]

This is not a religious site, but rather an educational nonprofit effort.

OK, but what is the yardstick by which you judge what is a cult and what is not?

If God's Word cannot be used, then you have nothing to go on, right?

Simply put, what's the standard here???

See [www.culteducation.com]

Defining a "cult" is based upon behavior not belief.

Well, before behavior goes bad...wrong belief must be present.

Some of the stuff listed on this site is not cult based.
Much of it is simple mis-interpretation of God's promises.

Besides, most of the info is collected from newspaper articles written by un-Godly people who know nothing about God in the first place!

How do you help people get out of cults, through psychology or something? Without God's Word and the Holy Spirit, there is no freedom from the darkness of this world.

But, you don't like talking about the great things God has promised so...
I don't see where you have much to say.
