If anyone is interested in attending a support group for former members of cults or spiritually abusive groups, please contact me. My husband, Doug Duncan, and I have been facilitating a support group for five years. My husband and I are both mental health professionals, but the group is not a therapy group, but rather a peer support group (we are both former members of a cult, Trinity Foundation, in Dallas, TX.

There is no charge for this meeting. We usually meet the third Saturday of the month from 3-5. This is NOT an open group. Individuals must be screened before they are invited to attend in order to ensure that the group is safe from active cult members and individuals who are triggering or inappropriate for a group.

Google dallas cult for more contact information.

Say RR, I've got a question for you: if somebody were to contact you seeking an "expert" on the topic of the world of televangelists and televangelism, would you ever, under any circumstances, refer them to Ole Anthony and/or the Trinity Foundation?

Of course you would not; it's a rhetorical question, Rick.
