I was raised as the son of a pastor in a fundamentalist, Christian cult (Worldwide Church of God - Armstrongism), became a "devout" agnostic and atheist and later came out as gay after being married to a woman and having three sons (and remaining close friends with my ex). Just launched a blog and published a book about my childhood, the culture of the church/cult I was raised in, and my coming out story, "Cults and Closets: Coming Out of Chaos."
