The Ayahuasca Defense Fund, run by professionals, academics, and attorneys, has now stated specifically that Ayahuasca Healings "has no legal protections".

This is an excellent time for everyone to flee this unsafe sinking ship, educate themselves about the coercive persuasion that has been used on them, and regain their minds and lives.

This includes their newest public member Joe Sullivan, also their videographer / photographer Gabriel Ng.

Trinity says he has an 82 year old Shipibo, Peruvian man, along with his daughter, who will be brought to US for ceremonies at the Ayahuasca Healings land in Washington state.

Trinity's announcement includes three requests to take a survey, the survey is a marketing survey designed to encourage people to feel invested in Trinity's group.

Trinity says in that marketing survey that they may soon offer a coaching program.

He also requests that we state our monthly income.

This is both a survey to help him refine his marketing pitch, we are asked what life issues we would like help with - and it is also a sales technique, the survey is designed to be persuasive and encourage us to feel invested.

Trinity de Guzman issued a public statement on March 8 that Ayahuasca Healings in on hiatus.

He writes "we are 100% confident that what we are doing here is 100% legal". Yet he also writes that the reason for the hiatus is because they do not have a D.E.A. permit (meaning they are not legal).

This information is not on the front page of their website. It is buried in a lot of sales rhetoric.

There is no mention of refunds. Trinity says there will be no cancellations, only rescheduling.

People deserve their money back.

If refunds are not prompt, obtaining legal advice might be helpful.

Dylan Guss is the webmaster / support person of Ayahuasca Healings. His last known location is Peru. Those who know him say he now sounds like a clone of Trinity, so be prepared for a lot of sales rhetoric and manipulation attempts.

There are many critical articles available directly disputing Ayahuasca Healings' claims.

When asked about this, AH responds that criticism is all only from anti-ayahuasca forces that are enemies of the AH spiritual vision. But this is far from the truth.

The Ayahuasca Defense Fund states:

Quote

AYAHUASCA HEALINGS RETREATS IS THE FIRST LEGAL AYAHUASCA CHURCH IN THE US.
Reality: False. This group has no legal protections, and the UDV and Santo Daime (in certain states) both precede them in being the first legal ayahuasca church in the US.

[ayahuascadefense.com]

Another example of informed criticism from within the ayahuasca interest community is Bia Labate PhD in anthropology, she has hosted on her website several articles critical of Ayahuasca Healings including [www.bialabate.net]

Trinity's behavior continues to be very concerning. He has not admitted mistakes nor made amends. He continues to insist that his operation is legal, but it is very illegal. Trinity acts like a messiah, he claims that he is the source of visions and manifestations, he refers everything back to himself and his supposed spiritual enlightenment.

Trinity de Guzman says he is leading a movement called "Global Healing Community". He wants us all to join, listen to everything he says, and that soon he will tell us what our individual roles are.

Youtube videos by Gabriel Ng recruit for Ayahuasca Healungs. Facebook is also used for recruitment along with the main website and marketing email list.

Trinity says they are working with an attorney, most likely this is Matthew Pappas, who is the attorney for the larger "church". Matthew Pappas does not appear to have experience in the relevant law. Instead of claiming that there are conspiratorial forces against them, Pappas needs to inform everyone that they currently have no legal protections.

Here is Trinity's latest message in which he explains why there aren't going to be refunds and why having to wait is a "gift". It is an amazing piece of spiritualized BS. Full of avoidance, denial, self inflation, arrogance, ignorance and more!

One of the most amazing things is that AH doesn't really seem to be a scam. They mangaged to believe the crazy legal pitch of ONAC. And in their arrogance they didn't listen to more informed and experienced people. Now they have made an unintended ethical mess they can't clean up. Delusion and magical thinking has its consequencs.

BTW I don't think it is appropriate to make comments about his support person unless you have had enough contact with him. My sense is he is a good fellow who is now trying to figure out the right thing to do.

Thank you for joining in dhammahuasca, hope you will continue to do so.

I had a brief unpleasant online interaction with their web person, Maybe I am in some instances being unfair. I hope that he honestly is a good fellow and that he can get out of this bad situation. I hope everyone can.

I still think they are a scam, hitched to the larger scam of ONAC. Dhamma can you write more about why you don't think they (Trinity) are a scam?

Also do you have any ideas on how they could clean this up? Personally I believe they need to sever ties with ONAC.

Trinity seems so self absorbed with being a messianic leader, this is concerning.
