Who owns the land at 204 Lutkins Road, Elbe Washington? This address is part of a larger location with several addresses. The real estate looks to be for sale, does the real esate agent know what Ayahuasca Healings is doing on the land?

From the promo videos it sounds like they do not have full bathroom availability, no showers. What type of plumbing do they have, what do customers use? Is everything up to health and fire codes?

If this was a friendly, discreet, group of adults privately doing their own consensual thing, I and others would not be writing about them. But Trinity is now the victim of his hugely over zealous marketing. He has shouted to the world that Ayahuasca Healings is legal, but it is not. AH does not have a D.E.A.agency exemption, they are not legal.

Meanwhile, Trinity is making lots of money.

Initially observers wondered if Marc was naive, now they are using the word "arrogant" to desribe him. Marc claims that nothing bad can happen on the land because of his own spiritual power.

But obviously, things could go wrong. Making all customers give up their car keys for the duration is not the solution, in fact it could make things worse.

Recent photos of the operation have included photos of very young children.

Trinity's most recent message on the Ayahuasca Healings Facebook page (they've not been very active there publicly lately) is a black and white close up of a lion's roar, mouth wide open, canines displayed. Quote is from Rajneesh / Osho about becoming unafraid of other people's opinions and instead becoming a lion.

This is an unfortunate choice. Rajneesh's people committed biological terrorism. Rajneesh ran a destructive group, including taking over the small rural town of Antelope. [www.oregonlive.com]

If you signed a waiver or other agreement with Ayahuasca Healings, please scan and post them online if possible.

The Facebook group Ayahuasca Healings is NOT legal [m.facebook.com] can be a possible source of support for former members.

The Cult Education site has lots of great resources for education and recovery. Some people are upset by the use of the world "cult". It can be helpful to instead focus on the warning signs of potentially unsafe groups and leaders [culteducation.com] Also to learn about coercive persuasion. There are all sorts of unsafe group and leaders, including abusive relationships between two people.

Osho Rajneesh people brought MDMA to Ibiza
Posted by: corboy ()

It may be no coincidence that Osho is being quoted here.

The Osho/Rajneesh sanyassins are a very important part of the rave/club scene in Ibiza, Goa and South America.

They played a big part in bringing MDMA (aka.'Ecstacy') to the club scene in Ibiza.

[forum.culteducation.com]

Here D'Andrea describes "Deep" one Osho sanyassin, whom he met in Ibiza. "Deep" had become involved in the Santo Daime ayahuasca sect.

[books.google.com]

Quote

"Deep was not only a sanyassin but also a main organizer of the (Sainto Daime) cult in Ibiza. Multiple affliations were common among the expressive expatriates exemplifying a type of post-traditional religiosity typically seen in the New Age. The Santo Daime revolves around a sacramental drink named ayahuasca....

"Deep explained that, for awhile, Daimistas were able to bring the substance through airport checkpoints in twenty liter containers, declaring it 'an energizer drink from the Amazon.'

"But customers offices demanded that they stop the transaction and the group began to import ayahuasca instead from Holland, overland and by ferry. However, the cult ceased its operations in Ibiza for other reasons.

"According to Deep, participants gradually lost interest in the cult as their attention drifted to other self development practices. They sporadically conducted Daime rituals based on special visits or requests. But the original enthusiasm had apparently faded.

"This story illustrates the lifecycle commonly verified in New Age forms of religiosity. A ritual practices is sustained for as long as participants remain genuinely interested..."

Global Nomads pp 72-73

This illustrates how some members of San Daime turned ayahuasca into a mere
plaything.

They made this accessible to elderly adolescents.

When treated so lightly, ritual is no longer worthy of the name.

It becomes one game among many.

Agreed, it becomes one game among many.

Back in the 80s I had friends who were Rajneeshees, I saw how fast MDMA use spread through communities. I did not stay in touch with these friends, they were active in the Rajneesh / Osho international scene, I was not.

One past friend recently killed himself. He had been a sannyasion for close to 30 years, often in Goa, and my guess is that he never was properly treated for depression. He was already messed up on MDMA when I knew him.

Even though Osho is long gone, other leaders have stepped up, the cult continues. And through the various rave and new age scenes, people still think Osho is someone to emulate and be inspired by.

This is very valuable information Corboy. I can see the rave/club scene influence in the Facebook pages of Trinity's followers. Emphasis on hallucinogenic esthetic.

But even though the esthetic is supposedly new and spiritual - this is still a market place, a for profit business, making money off of a drug gold rush.

Ayahuasca Healings states that each session includes one Ayahuasca ceremony and one San Pedro ceremony. Also a "Native Indian Sweat Lodge Ceremony".

Such disrespectful cultural appropriation. They are doing what they call sweat lodges in a "Tipi like structure". They don't know what they are doing. People have died in fake sweats.

Mescaline-containing San Pedro is a controlled substance in the US. They can be sold as ornamental plants, not as drugs.

Both of these plants / brews / medicines can be quite powerful, causing psychedelic states in users. Marc has claimed that nothing can go wrong because of his spiritual energy. This is the height of folly.

Tipis are not used in the parts of the world where the true custodians of ayahuasca ritual live.

The tipi was used by some of the tribes in North America -- ayahuasca is not indigenous to North America, and neither are its rituals.

This is cultural illiteracy at its most crass.

Here is a comparison.

In Roman Catholicism, proper custody of the holy sacrament is a serious matter. Bread consecrated by a priest during Mass is regarded as the Real Body and Blood of God as manifested through the Risen Jesus Christ.

To receive Holy Communion, one must be a Roman Catholic and not be in a state of mortal sin. To administer Holy Communion, one must be a Roman Catholic, and if a layperson, have been commissioned to be a Eucharistic minister.

The consecrated host must never be sold. Canon Law is stringent on this point.

Thoughtful Catholics are deeply concerned lest consecrated bread fall into the hands of persons who might use it ignorantly, superstitiously, and worst of all, desecrate it.

It would be considered both a mortal sin and a moral outrage if word got out that a Eurcharistic Minister obtained consecrated bread, knowingly slipped it
past airport inspectors, calling it "energy food" and then gave it to non Catholics.

By contrast, people like "Deep"* feel entitled to take ayahuasca from its traditional custodians., put it into 20 liter containers* transport it thousands of miles and multiple time zones and cultural zones far from its ritual home and give it away to adult children who are pursuing self development.

One uses this to connect to a purpose far, far beyond oneself and to serve one's home community.

These global nomads are homeless people. Anyone who needs to mix and match and create rituals is unqualified to participate in a ritual that is tied to a specific homeland and a specific tribe.

(To make, let alone smuggle 20 liters of ayahuasca liquid is in itself a travesty - the original custodians of ayahuasca made it small amounts, not industrial sized increments.)

Merely to give ayahuasca under such conditions is wrong in itself.

To sell access to ayahuasca and other boundaried rituals just adds to the insult.

A person who exploits ritual for financial gain will pay a penalty.

In his or her hour of need, that person will find all rituals and symbols
have gone inert.
