Hello,
I would like to make you all aware of a so-called holy man in Kerala, India, named Sadhu Vinod, who visits several places to find westerners to have sex with them. He frequently visits the Shanti Madom ashram in Azhikode to look for prospect westerners. As far as I'm aware Shanti Madom is not like that at all, it is just this man who uses it to shop. He also networks between Mookambika and the Sai Baba ashram and goes once a year to the Himalayas. He promises spiritual growth by having sex with him and says drinking his semen gives you grate powers. He claims to be a great yogi and tantra teacher and is on the lookout for new devotees to groom them and become their "tantric" sex-guru. He sees himself as a great divine being and calls everyone else donkeys, claiming he is superior. He often gives lectures and plans to come to the west to promote himself.

His details are:
Sadhu Vinod
Budhavihar
Avadoothashram
(PO) Ettukudukka
Payannur
Kannur (dist)
Kerala, India
Pin: 670 521

Here is a book that is valuable for fact checking anyone who claims to be a sadhu

Wandering With Sadhus by Sonia Hausner.

Hausner lived with Shankara sadhus and sadhvis, and learned that genuine sadhus are not lone wolves or mavericks. They are, if Shankara Dasnamis, in one of five lineages. Being a genuine sadhu or sadhvi means joining a parallel social structure that one is accountable to. You join a family, a clan, and can clearly state which one you belong to. And--it is considered appropriate to request this information.

She learned that it there is no such thing as a sadhu being able to go rogue and still retain respect.

To be considered genuine and not dubious, a sadhu or sadhvi will be able and is EXPECTED to name his or her diksa (initiating guru) guru, one of the five sublineages if the sadhu or sadhvi is a Shankara Dasnami. A sanhu or sadhvi will also be able to name the akhera (administrative body) of his or her Dasnami sublineage.

And a sadhu will be able to state how many and which Kumbhmela festivals he or she has attended and will only live in the encampment corresponding to his or her lineage. At the Kumbmela, Giri Sadhus live only in the Giri encampment and only eat with other Giris, not with Bharatis or Saraswatis, etc.

Two, if a teacher claims to be in the lineage of a guru who left no formal lineage (such as Ramana Maharshi) thats wrong. Lineage is a matter of great formality, both among Hinduis and also Buddhists.

And tantrics if genuine does NOT go around advertising and looking for prospects.

A lot of very desperate characters are capable of claiming the title of sadhu as well as guru--and are unworthy to wear the robes.
