Help and advice needed to get out of a cult

Hello this is my first post and I wasn't sure where to put it but here goes. I'm 23 and since before I was born my family have been members of what I now know is a cult. At 18 they sent me away to train as a priestess and I'm kept in a place with no contact with the outside world at all and a very strict system of training and exercise. It's only this past month I've been allowed Internet access and I've already been here 5 years and they think I'm researching for my exam. If they find out I'm using it for this they will stop me.

If you are unhappy just walk-away.

What is the name of the group, its leader and location?

If I leave my family will be faced with a huge bill of millions that they can't pay because I failed to complete my course. They will disown me and I'll have nothing. I'm even concerned about mentioning the name of the group here. Maybe it was wrong to come here. I just don't know what to do. We're in a compound here with high fences and are watched all the time anyway.

Kornhelia:

If you are unhappy leave the compound.

If you need help call the local police in your area.

It may be difficult to leave, but if you are unhappy there this seems to be a choice that you have.

This is the "Recovery" section of the Web site with articles about recovery from cults.

It may be helpful.

When came here at 18 my family and I signed a contract. The course fee is over 3 million pounds but almost all of it is always waived with the proviso that we complete the course. If not it will be retreived and my family bankrupted.

Kornhelia:

This is something you might discuss with a lawyer after leaving, if you decide to do that.

kornhelia is apparently an "Internet troll" and hoaxer.

See www.karismedicalcentre.co.uk

The tower she claims for the so-called "Daughters of Frya" is in fact the location of the Karis Medical Centre.

I thought it must be a hoax when three million pounds was mentioned.

A good rule of thumb:

Dont let anyone con us into doing their work for them.

A librarian shows you where to find the books and magazine articles. But a librarian does not read them for you or write your term papers for you.

A good way to do it is share information and see whether someone uses it.

To paraphrase the old proverb, you can hand someone the toilet paper but it is up to them to use it.
