I don't know if Irina Tweedie (Chasm of Fire) has been mentioned yet, but her Sufi teacher left her penniless, all in the name of enhancing his ability to give to charity, and as some kind of "teaching."

This is really interesting info.

IMO Tweedie does not seem to have been a kind person - possibly re enacted the cruelty inflicted on her by her dodgy guru.
