Just FYI, the forum posts at forum.culteducation.com do not seem to be indexed by Google. Don't know if that is a glitch, or deliberate.
The main articles are indexed, but the forum posts are not indexed in Google or Bing. Have the search engine's spiders been deliberately blocked?

To test this, just take any unique phrase from any forum post, the older the better, and put it into quotes, and you will see they are not in Google.

Example, search Google for this string

"Byron Katie (the Work) and Eckhart Tolle Legit??"

You will see that phrase appears in many other websites, that linked to the old thread, but does not appear from these forums.
According to an old post in the tech support area, the forums are supposed to be indexed by Google.

As stated, the main article area is indexed.
But these forums are not.
Another test is to try a site search, and there is nothing there.
Search the phrase below, and you see it has not been indexed.
Insert any search word where the line is __________ into Google

site:forum.culteducation.com _________


So obviously this site has not been setup to allow indexing, or there is an error.

I noticed this too, and posted a message for the moderator who relied to say it is all getting sorted (see the destructive churches thread, 'Apology and explanation about loss of data base files 2011-2013')

I am really not sure what is happening re the google search however, as changing the "robot" to allow google searching should be a 10 minute job.

I too have noticed that if you Google the cult I commonly wrote about; Chris Butler and the Science of Identity Foundation, all you will find now is pages and pages of cult generated propaganda. Gone are the days when the first hits were forum posts, videos and references to the old Rick Ross site that offered alternate views of the old cult meister Chris Butler (aka Siddhaswarupananda).

Unfortunately conspiracy theories caught fire regarding the data loss on this forum to the point that several regular posters are no longer contributing. So this particular cult has free reign over any critical reviews of their activities.

No one is hearing the voices of those hurt and damaged by this cult any more....

No one is getting a fair chance to question the claims and operations of this grand narcissist who has cheated people out of millions of dollars...

So what remains to be done to fix this?

Correct, this web forum is still NOT being indexed by Google, as can be verified by the methods above.

It would only take a short time (days) for this web forum to be totally indexed by Google, and also new posts would appear in Google results the same day, or sometimes within minutes.
Without the forum being indexed by Google, then it is not available to the general public searching the internet for information. Its not "really" part of the internet.


So for the sake of clarity, it would be good to get a response from the webmaster as to what is going on?



1) Does whoever is running this forum website not know how to allow Google to index the site? Are they aware it is broken?



2) or, have the webmasters made the decision to block Google from indexing this web forum for their own reasons?



If there isn't any clarification on that, then one assumes people would have to draw their own conclusions?

Its there in the code.
