Hi everyone

I am interested in hearing from other New Zealanders who have been part of a cult or high demand group or church.

As we can see from the info on this board, adjusting to life after leaving our group can be difficult as we experience negative aftereffects and struggle to find our place in life again. Those of us who have left these groups have a lot in common with others who have also left, whether from our group or another.

Im keen to connect with other likeminded people who have left groups/churches and live in NZ by email. I myself was part of a group with an eastern teacher and I have also been affected by new age groups since then. Im now learning to find my own life again and it is important to me that people are respected for living their own lives and having their own beliefs. I would hope we can support and respect each other in our own individual journeys.
