psyborgue:

The links you posted will probably be lost through updating at that site. Mirrors can also fade away.

The recent loss of information at this message board is the only time that this has occurred in its more than decade long history.

Overall nothing has been lost at the main institute archive since 1996.

Everything has been done at the ISP level to preclude a backup problem in the future.

Anyone interested in preserving specific noteworthy posts lost from this thread (2011-2013) can copy and post from where you might find it now and then post it here noting the original post date in a brief introduction.

This would be very helpful for those researching Swami G. in the future and any other topics discussed at this board where some material was recently lost due to the backup failure.

Again, I am deeply sorry about the backup failure.

Good recap of many of the issues raised in the previous lost thread.
One very telling contradiction is her suggesting that people wait several years after their awakening,
before jumping into a teaching role, and how traditionally students would spend 10 years with their
teachers before even being given the highest teachings, etc etc
And then spends a week or so with a new teacher, and she's off to the races with self-anointed
titles like Paramahamsa and Satguru, and keeping her Sannyas name even though she clearly stopped
following the rules of said order upon return to the West (timeline not entirely clear)
Didn't she stop wearing the orange cloth, she clearly couldn't follow the basic dietary guidelines, also eating meat and insisting on it from her students, engaging in business and money affairs, buying a house and settling in one place.....
She will say she had other teachers along the way.
She will say Rajiv was simply her "final" teacher, and that he told her to go and teach.
Again, for me, nothing conclusive as far as her Enlightenment claims, but certainly potential red flags on the play :)

Here's a question for Guru G and Siddhananda:

Are you currently involved, or have you ever been, in a sexual (or plutonic) relationship with eachother?

Rules of use for this message board forbid using for purposes of self promotion.

We must piously hope that no persons come to this board who are in the guru business themselves, hoping to recruit new members.

G has shown an ability to elicit money and attention, and especially via phone and skype.

The persons who have left her remain potential high value recruits, even if they feel sure they will never get involved with another guru. In spite of oneself, one can miss the closeness, the intensity and ones friends.

My concern is that persons who feel they have been harmed by G and who correspond here would still be missing the closeness they did have with aspirants and G before the bad times began.

Anyone who receives any PMs (private messages) inviting them to become involved in some other yoga or satsang project should send such material immediately to Rick Ross, not laugh it off.

Mr Ross can be contacted here:

The Royal Line:

Are you a spiritual teacher?

Is that your profession and/or do you have students, conduct seminars, classes, conferences, etc. concerning spiritual subjectes?

Please explain the significance of "The Royal Line" as your chosen name on this thread.

Question for Guru G and Siddhananda:

Presumably, once you are Enlightened, there is no longer a need to eat meat to help stabilize the Kundalini?
You have said that Kundalini basically finishes with all the kriyas and ups and downs.
Is this accurate?
And if this is so, why do you continue to eat meat? Surely from a place of love and compassion you would
no longer need to partake, assuming it was ever even necessary to walk the kundalini journey?
If it's no big deal, as you say, than try killing the animals you are consuming and report back to me ok.
I wonder what your report would be?

Also, would you be so buddy buddy with Janie (Siddhananda) if she decided to stop eating meat?
Or decided to start dating and be sexually active again?
Or started teaching and her methods, rules, focus, teachings........were different from yours?

Would you be so buddy buddy with Ron (Hridaya) if he did the same?
Or better yet, if he stopped paying for everything? If he took back the apt (s?), car (s), trike (s), and
only made little donations from time to time?
I'm sure he wonders the same thing. Or if not, maybe he should.

Or if Sachi moved away, started dating again, started using her birth name?
Assuming she still wanted to be your student, would you still be so buddy buddy?

No I'm not a spiritual teacher.
The name is just a play on people who think that their word is beyond question.

During the time when the earlier G thread was active, persons who had left G did receive inappropriate private messages.

I frequently gave this advice - to send the PM to Mr Ross.

Never disclose intimate material about yourself to someone who lacks a long history and has earned trust on this message board.

You cannot know whether someone newly arrived could be in the guru business, trying to fish in this pond for new persons.

G had a talent for finding persons not only willing to give her much by way of money time and attention.

Persons of this kind are just what other teachers or gurus want to add to their portfolios of human investments.

A bonding process can take place in the privacy of PM sharing.

So be careful out there and feel free to contact Mr Ross at any time.

Especially, beware of anyone who works your emotions so that you feel you are in on a secret and are being disloyal to share the PMs and your concerns with Mr Ross.

There is nothing more seductive than someone who can lead you to feel you are in on a secret.

It starts as intensity and ends as a trap.

The Royal Line:

OK.

So you are saying that you in no way, shape or form are connected to teaching anything professionally as a spiritual teacher of any sort.

And that whatever your profession is it is no way connected to the issues raised on this message board.

Did I get that right?

This is just a distraction.

The real issue is what is being done with money?

Does Guru G meet the actual guidelines for a spiritual non profit, or is she benefitting in a way that secular tax payers do not do.

Two, confidentiality and treatment of former students.

THOSE are the issues of interest.

What people do or not do with their sex lives is irrelevant to this discussion--unless minor children are being harmed or adult sex is nonconsensual/under duress.
