Ok, so my college and many others here in California promote this "leadership" program known as LCLI or Latino College Leadership Institute sponsored by NCCJ The National Conference for Community and Justice. When I first heard about this program I was curious to find out about it seeing as how it was a way to expand my horizons and build more leadership skills. Though through that veil of "training" one of my friends came back from the retreat rather early. I asked him as to why he came back early and it seemed that during the program they were doing exercises which involved types of sensitivity training. From the articles I've read on this site, it seemed that they exhibited the same cult like behavior. They do exercises which force people to have no opinion and questioning results in a verbal bashing. I was hoping if anyone could supply me with anymore information regarding these organizations. LCLI is based here in Southern California.
