Tony Alamo in the news

I made a recent post on my YouTube account "erikbundy" talking about Tony Alamo and how he has come under suspision from authorities in the areas where HIS church operates. One man wrote back to me, defending Tony Alamo, telling me how he is such a great "man of God", and that all of the recent bad news regarding him are lies, and that he (Alamo) is a wonderful servent of the Lord.
This scares me so much, people are so brainwashed, think about it, the man claims that President Clinton tried to have him assisnated, I've got news for Tony Alamo, if the government wanted him dead, he would be dead. Alamo claims that he has an unreleased Beatles album, and that he has held onto it all of these years, simply because he is not interested in money. This claim has been refuted many, many times by the man Alamo claims gave him the album. The man said that the album NEVER existed, and that Alamo is a liar.
One more thing about this album, Alamo is quick to tell anyone that does not fit his ideal of "holiness" that they are going to hell; he says that anyone w/ any "ties" to the "world" is going to hell, he rails on "rock-and-roll" music, and everything else that he considers "unholy". If Alamo truly still has this album, how can he expect to go to heaven, he has said many times on his radio broadcast that anyone who listens to or owns any of "Satan" music will go to hell. I guess he can include himself in that list.
The following is the article I came across on a "religion news" website:

Feds bringing evangelist Alamo back to Arkansas
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Evangelist Tony Alamo left Arizona for Arkansas under the watch of federal marshals Monday, preparing to answer to charges that he took children across state lines to engage in sexual activity.

U.S. Marshal Richard O’Connell of Fort Smith told The Associated Press that Alamo was en route to Arkansas, but declined to offer any details on how officials would be transporting him.

Arkansas and federal agents raided Alamo’s compound in Fouke on Sept. 20, searching for evidence that children there had been molested or filmed having sex. Arkansas authorities later took six girls from the compound, ages 10 to 17, into protective custody.

Five days after the raid, FBI agents arrested Alamo at a luxury resort in Flagstaff, Ariz.

Federal court documents filed in Arizona, calling the flamboyant evangelist by his birth name of Bernie Hoffman, show police believe he took children across state lines to engage in “sexual activity.” He was charged under the federal Mann Act, usually used in interstate prostitution cases.

Alamo, 74, had waived his right to fight extradition to Arkansas. He has not yet been indicted, and Patrick Beneca, a lawyer for Alamo, said “we’re just waiting and seeing. … I know he’s excited to get his side of the story told.”
