Has anybody any information on the above?

When I was at uni in the 80's I got involved with this group and it made my time a uni a living hell. I realise now that they used all of the cult process, isolation, special words and language, restriction of frienships, rituals etc, etc. I know the leader at the time 'George' was active in several places. I escaped when I graduated and it took me several years to shake them off.

My daughter is on her summer break and mentioned the name and alarm bells rang. I have told her of my dealings with this group and she is now aware of the potential that they represent.

I am interested to find out if they are still active and if 'George' is still in charge.

I came across them or something with the same name about 12 years ago when attending an AGM at Reading. They were very much a a 'rant and cant' group. I dont know if the leader was called George. From the comments I heard they were targeting students and those who had problems with being away from the home environs for the first time.
