I saw this film about Mr Mary Joseph himself when it first came out. It is a classic in exposing evangelical Christian scams. He really did the right thing by blowing the lid off of these frauds! He had a short lived acting career afterwards. I also like Steve Martin's portrayal of a phony faith healer in the movie "Leap of Faith". Very funny!

I think that movie really helped to prevent a lot of abuses, but it still goes today.
It really makes me wonder if the meme theory might have some relevance after all... [forum.culteducation.com]
