Is anyone familiar with Operation: Jesus Pictures? How about Silvana Lupetti or Char Tierney?

We have, for years, attempted to challenge Char Tierney's "Operation: Jesus Pictures", formerly known as "Table of the Remnant". Add your testimony as you pass out the pictures of Jesus."


"The Holy Spirit has promised that His presence will be with each of these pictures of Jesus"? Really? A "spirit" may have told Char this, but it wasn't the Holy Spirit! Since when does YHWH command us to make ANY kind of images of His Son whose real Name is Yeshua (Hebrew for "YHWH is Salvation")?

Deuteronomy 4: - 15 "Therefore, watch out for yourselves! Since you did not see a shape of any kind on the day ADONAI spoke to you in Horev from the fire, 16 do not become corrupt and make yourselves a carved image having the shape of any figure - not a representation of a human being, male or female....

Char goes so far as to assert that her pictures have "special powers" - which is blatant superstition. For one thing, whether or not the "Shroud of Turin" is real is NOT a proven, scientific fact, and even if is, it would be a very distorted image. Secondly, except for Isaiah 53:1-3 which tells us Yeshua wasn't very handsome, there is no description of Yeshua anywhere in the Bible!

Bottom line: If something cannot be verified in the Bible, then it's a lie. And everything on Char's site is a lie, as evidenced by the supposed "Sounds from Hell" that she, for years, tried to pass off as real...Just another thing which shows that this woman is grasping at the proverbial straws to try to "prove" the validity of the Bible by inserting man-made opinions and "scare" tactics.

There was a reason for Yeshua being born at a time when there were no cameras or voice recorders - among them being that we are to walk by faith and not our carnal desires, ideologies, and prejudices - such as color and creed and all manner of man-made ideology....

If Char had truly been hearing from the "Holy Spirit" the first thing she would have discovered that the Father has a Name which is YHWH (Yahweh) and His Son is Yeshua who was YHWH-Come-in-the-Flesh (not "God Incarnate" which denotes God had to DIE before He could appear on earth), and that Yeshua - unlike "Jesus" was a Torah observant, Seventh Day Sabbath and Feast-keeping Messiah who came to personally show mankind how to walk in righteousness through Torah.

Satan's three fears


This is a drawing of Satan's fear, drawn by Silvana Lupetti. The Father is continuing to reveal on a daily basis more about Satan and about evil. He showed Silvana three fears that Satan has: fear of discovery: that it will be shown that he is not equal in power to God, that the reason he left the Father is selfish and petty, that he has fears at all, and that he is no longer a perfect being. Another fear is that of being bound. If he can be bound, then it means that someone is more powerful than he is. His pride fears being bound, like a common criminal - being taken to face the sentence pronounced on him. His third fear is that of being undone. He has relied on the mercy of the Father, and not allowed himself to look at the fact that he will face death without resurrection. Over the millenia, he has seen many die, yet they are eternal. He has banked on this, but it is being forced on him that he will face extinction if he does not turn. And as we all can see, he is continuing his raging war against the Father and the earth, so death - the second death - lies ahead for him. The lake of fire consumes entirely, and unmakes what has been made. Satan's most powerful fear is that of being undone.

"Operation Jesus Pictures," formerly known as "Table of the Remnant" is a small, fringe group led by "Apostle" Char Tierney, that lives a communal lifestyle on shared adjacent properties in rural New Mexico (Moriarty, NM). This group is heavily involved online and its main "ministry" involves publishing and exporting prints of a well-known painting supposedly based on measurments taken from the shroud of Turin for donations. OJP has ties to missions in Uganda and Rwanda.

OJP has changed its website considerably over the years, having removed most of its inflammatory and controversial material so that it appears on the surface to be more in the mainstream. This is especially true after end-times prophecies regarding President Bush and Sadaam Hussein did not pan out in 2005.

Belying the updated appearance of their website, Operation Jesus Pictures' is highly exclusivistic: "...As remnant brothers and sisters, we have fellowship with Him, our Bridegroom, and also with each other, who truly love Him, but this does not have to be in a church building. The Father calls the Table of the Remnant a fellowship. It is a calling together of those of like mind, of like Spirit, who love Jesus, who want to do His will in this day and hour. Together we see what is on the table from the Father, we pray for one for another, we encourage one another, as we see the state of the world from the Holy Spirit's perspective, and as He shows us the plans and schemes of the enemy. Because the church is failing Him in love, (as He said when He gave the series of warnings to the church) the remnant cannot fellowship within the fallen church freely, just as the early Christians could not fellowship freely in the synagogues with the Jews who rejected Jesus."

A key teaching of this group is that "the church" (meaning generally other established churches) has failed in that it points people to knowledge about Jesus through the Bible, but away from personal relationship with him. To OJP, "the church" propogates the great lie that Jesus is not speaking directly as he did to Abraham, Job, Paul, etc. and so only perpetuates religiosity, not saving, loving, personal relationship.

Table of the Remnant/OJP focuses heavily on prophetic visions and dreams, and seems especially interested in politics as the extension of spiritual warfare (especially in matters pertaining to Israel), and preaches an immanent end times scenario involving war, percecusion, and nuclear weapons. Group followers spend excessive time and money producing pictures and other tasks and the group leader has used children to further goals. One young boy in particular was encouraged in his supernatural gift of prayer healing. (seen in a now dated video recording posted on youtube: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDHCrLfAl7Y at 48:30). Interestingly, OJP forms the nucleus of the "East Mountain Tea Party" and as such, networks extensively in local and state politics, leading some in the local community to raise questions as both groups apparently solicit to the same P.O. Table of the Remnant began referring to themselves as "Operation Jesus Pictures" as they believe the painting they mass copy and produce, supposedly based on measurements from the Shroud of Turin is indeed a Holy Spirit inspired likeness that acts as some sort of channel for direct conversation with Jesus. OJP produces many thousands of these pictures as they claim it is God's will and major work on the earth that they are distributed to every person possible. As expected, miricalulous stories are associated with this picture:

This is the Holy Spirit showing His presence. The enemy would not pass out a picture of Jesus to people. The reason any given person does not hear Jesus talking directly to them is because of lack of faith, which is blatant manipulation and of course, anything a follower "hears" from God has to be validated by and in line with the leader. The leader of this group is Char (Charolette) Tierney, who goes by the title "Apostle and Administrator." The other co-founder, Silvana Lupetti, recently died of cancer, but went by the title "Prophet of the Father in the United States". According to their testimonials, both of these ladies left families, believing God called them to travel the United States together and eventually ended up in rural New Mexico.

Again, "Table of the Remnant"/"Operation Jesus Picture's" old material that has largely been removed was more blatantly exclusivist than you will find on their present site. Here is a longer, but useful quotation:

Instead of repentance, they will choose to fight the Remnant armies which are led by the living God. Sides are being drawn.
"This Council of War has to do with plans on the part of the Father as to what He will have His Remnant do, the words and warnings He wants them to give, and etc. (I don't know what the etc. part is.) He will reveal these plans, which are now being laid in the heavenlies, to His Remnant.
"Concerning the mists that surrounded Jesus: The Holy Spirit had shown through a prophecy entitled, JESUS CLEANSES HIMSELF, Jesus washing Himself clean of the prayers of the selfish, disobedient church.
