A friend took my mother up for a weekend retreat at Victory Church in Lethbridge, Canada and my siblings and I are left wondering if she visited a cult church after hearing of her experience. I read several articles online about the Victory Church in 1994 covered by Oprah, but it also says that they closed the church, moved and opened under a new name (Abundant Life, I believe). Does anyone know if this church is affiliated in any way with the old Victory Church or does anyone have information on this church specifically.
