I was wondering if anyone thinks it's possible for members of religious groups feeling threatened by info on this site, to hack their way into someone else's account, and erase posts :?:

Very unlikely due to the security features.

It would be quite difficult and they would probably end up being arrested and prosecuted for such criminal activity.

Do you monitor that kind of activity?

Well i am no techie, but if a person chose a simple password that is out of the dictionary, then it would be very easy for them.
There are software password crackers that can run all the dictionary passwords, and in a few hours figure it out.
Perhaps this board has protections against that?

So use a password that is LONG, has random text and numbers and characters, like.... manWerd#$345Onn

Also, someone could get info off your computer if they had hacked into it. But that is unlikely if you have a firewall.

No need to be paranoid though.
Just use a good password, and you will be fine.
