Hi Malcolm,

It's a shame that Dave is continuing to deceive his flock into believing that he is doing something noteworthy. The reports about sending Jayme to a dentist in Mexico were certainly disturbing. Most of the people in his service would have access to outstanding medical care if they had not taken the "devils" bait. I look forward to the day that they all come to the true knowledge of God's grace.

Yes Adrian,

The American team probably has no health care cover (unlike the comfortable situation, of universal Medicare, that David and Cherry can access in Australia)...hence in desperation Jayme is directed to Mexico.....while Mexico has reasonable dental care (if you know where find it!)....the cheaper options are decidely risky....

I am unaware or the extent of your familiarity with the JC's Adrian....however to point this out to Jayme, would only in his eyes, register as the "sacrifice" he is making for the "gospel of Christ"....any suffering that Jayme undergoes, is of course, simply the "cross" that he has to bear as a "soldier of Christ"....thus when my own parents (or anyone external to the JC's!) or the friends and family of those entrapped in servitude to McKay tries to alert them to the potential dangers of working entirely unpaid for years on end, without any healthcare or any oversight of the conditions in which one is employed, or indeed any proprietary rights at all, in the organization they devote themselves to selling....

....due to the circular reasoning that they have been deluded by.....it simply registers as a "backward compliment".....the acknowledgement of the commitment that that they have thus made to the "cause"....(and for which "reward in heaven" awaits them!)

Regrettably, Jayme of course,

through the financial "sacrifices" he is stealing himself to constantly make....

is NOT (as he thinks) buying the "pearl of great price"....

....he is of course merely, purchasing the "pig shit of perilous expense"......

...direct from the pouting behind, of one very self important PIG!

My impression of a Jesus Christian ruled world would be that it would be similar to the "Killing fields" of Cambodia. Children taken away from their parents and taught by the newly formed JC world government to betray their parents if they were disloyal in thought, speech or deed to Jesus Christain dictates. Those interested in love and forgiveness would have to go into hiding

Here I must agree with Apostate, (mind you, were I to say such a thing on that site, I would no doubt be condemned for my "unfriendly" words and "negative" outlook...).

The pamphlet, "A new Economic Policy" was one of David's first (and subsequently only?) attempts to branch out beyond the simpllistic, theories of David BERG that he had originally adopted for himself (...at the return of Christ the TRUE Christians (excluding most people in established churches) would be appointed to various administrative positions in a new world Govt, autocratically headed by Christ)...

...David regurgitated some standard "communist placebos" pretending that the ideas somehow originated with him.....(e.g. the public would be "inspired" to work by the " nobliity" of the greater cause that they struggle for.....) without looking whatsoever, at the form a responsible and representative Govt might take, or how the Separation of Powers, Rule of Law and other fundamental principals might be protected (or interestingly from my perspective whether or not Christ, would "incorporate" existing Law and Legal Precedent into the new "Kingdom", however here I diverge).....

...basically David just doesn't have a clue...and it is difficult for him to impress anyone with much of an education.

I have said a number of times, that I'd now consider David, self absorbed enough to "kill" if God forbid, he ever had such political power....and I think the "killing fields" is an accurate allegory for the political system that David would aspire to if he could....He holds himself above the "Law"...and above the "Scripture" really (if you can recall his comment that as Jesus Christians live by the "spirit" of the Bible, they may sometimes infringe it's "letter...."....)

He would hence run his kingdom by personal fiat, in an autocracy of "life long peerage" for a chosen few (that is, those who were wise enough to understand never to question their ordained "ruler")....over the inconsequential masses, devoid of any natural rights...

Oh Malcolm, you are so full of hate. Can't you think of one nice thing to write about poor Dave? (tongue firmly in cheek)

Here's what I think ought to be the new JC theme song.

JESUS WAS A TERRORIST

by Jello Biafra

Jesus was a terrorist
Enemy of the state
That's what the Romans labeled him
So he was put to death

He died for his beliefs
What's changed today?

Today bible-thumping cannibals
Reap money from his name
Buy cable networks & power
With old ladies' checks

If Jesus saw Pat Robertson
What do you think he'd say?
Tax free then re-write our laws
And sick 'em on you
Women don't control their bodies
TV preachers do

Censor everything from bathing suits
To science books
From the schoolroom to the bedroom
They want our thoughts - or else

They treat us like the Romans
Used to treat the Christians
Even some church-going folks are scared

Modern catacombs of fear
Built with money, power, and threats
Rock 'n Roll is labeled porn
Sell a record, you're under arrest

Instead of fighting AIDS
They try to stop us having sex
They brag that they won't quit
Till they take dominion over our lives

Is freedom of speech such a terrorist act
Is spiritual peace such a satanic threat
Believe what you want
But we'll fight to keep
Our heads from being cemented in your sand

Only 21 accompanying "friends" (Zoe for example?) and family, which actually seems rather unimpressive to me, for a completely free, "good-will" event....it would appear that the majority of the family of current members have elected to stay well clear of the event....

(even then I suspect, as I commented earlier that "well-wishing" relatives are simply biding their time, in order to be able to position themselves to better rescue their family....David will have to continue to breach the privacy rights of his disciples, by telling them it would be "better" for them "spiritually" to only communicate with their immediate family in the presence of another JesusChristian and not to have any private correspondence with them, as per normal practice.....despite the "relaxed atmosphere" on board that David will hoping to sell the event as....)

Robins' family are a possibility......Robin is fortunate that he married into "royalty" (i.e. His wife is David's daughter)....hence his "ride" with the JesusChristians would have been considerably less subject to scrutiny....I've wondered why Kenya has been pursued with, for so long...as from Daivd's perspective it would not be generating either "souls" (new members!) or income....Robin has the personality to survive well in that type of challenging environment though....and Christine's "political" (and these days physical?) weight, would keep him relatively unchallengeable...

Ross' father and Rolands' mother have both passed away.....Sue's parents were on fairly hostile terms with the JCs the last time I saw them mentioned...

David will want some "glowing write-ups" after it all, effusively thanking him, from "grateful" parents to bandy about, and make a "song and dance" about once it's all over....I can remember a certain letter that appeared in one of the JC newsletters...

Jesse and Jayme (who might like to try and organize a check up with any on-board dentist, while he's at it), parents perhaps then....

Their sons' live out of a van and cannot afford a reliable dentist in the US, while David and Cherry tan themselves on the sun-deck, of a Cruise ship (no doubt out of Sydney) departing from a country where they enjoy the comforts of a regular home, paid for by the generosity of the Australian taxpayer....an irony that may, just somehow NOT be lost on them...despite the forced smiles...!

Which other families are (currently) in David's "good books" Zeuszor?

So you been to school
For a year or two
And you know you've seen it all
In daddy's car
Thinkin' you'll go far
Back east your type don't crawl

Play ethnicky jazz
To parade your snazz
On your five grand stereo
Braggin' that you know
How the brothers feel cold
And the slums got so much soul

It's time to taste what you most fear
Right Guard will not help you here
Brace yourself, my dear:

It's a holiday in Cambodia
It's tough, kid, but it's life
It's a holiday in Cambodia
Don't forget to pack a wife

You're a star-belly sneech
You suck like a leach
You want everyone to act like you
Kiss ass while you bitch
So you can get rich
But your boss gets richer off you

Well you'll work harder
With a gun in your back
For a bowl of rice a day
Slave for soldiers
Till you starve
Then your head is skewered on a stake

Now you can go where people are one
Now you can go where they get things done
What you need, my son:.

Is a holiday in Cambodia
Where people dress in black
A holiday in Cambodia
Where you'll kiss ass or crack

Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, [etc]

And it's a holiday in Cambodia
Where you'll do what you're told
A holiday in Cambodia
Where the slums got so much soul

Give me a little time to work on this and I'll get back with you soon, Mal. BTW, I earned all A's last semester. That's two semesters in a row. Presently I am in a couple of summer courses too. Don't you just love the Dead Kennedys?

You are right there Zeusor, while the scripture does admonishes me to "hate" sin.....(I waiting to see something from David McKay OTHER than sin....however I'll acknowledge that is is theoretically possible).....I should though, be a little more "up-beat" in relation to those individuals, still enslaved within David's empire.....no doubt the majority of them, were all once, bright idealistic and principled young people,.....

I hope that some of that has somehow survived....cynically though, I feel that the more, time after time, one learns to repress oneself in order to accommodate the demands of McKay ...the less and less of the original "good" that remains.....

Ross was certainly once a friend, who I remember in my prayers....Whatever's left of "him" though, I don't know.....

Vicki and her children, Ash, Grace and Hosea are some recent departures....over 36 years (since 1974) David has won 18 "permanent" serfs for himself....."two" a year.....(and no-one since Joe Johnson?)......

Assuming he "lives" (it's more a lingering death in his case) to 80, that would on average only give him, another eight lives to claim....

(...although it still seems a little like trying to console yourself about a "less successful" serial killer......)

Congratulations on your (no doubt thoroughly deserved) marks Zeszor! Well done....

I've certainly enjoyed and appreciated, what I've read myself to date.
