Dave has began live streaming on the A Voice in the Desert YouTube channel. There have been 2 streams within the past 10 days and another scheduled for December 4th. I have not yet watched these but it should provide an opportunity to converse with him directly if anyone should desire to.

This is in Kenya but with a connection to William Branham and Jesus Christians.
Seeking information about these groups.

Why and How did Jesus Christians and Branham support Mackenzie?

[en.wikipedia.org]

'In April, Italian sociologist Massimo Introvigne from the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR) argued that additional investigation into Mackenzie's church was needed, since it was then unclear whether Mackenzie preached fasting until starvation to his followers or whether the deaths were an autonomous act by some of his followers. He also said that groups such as the Jesus Christians, who supported Mackenzie and protested against his arrest in 2019 with arguments of religious liberty, should not be held responsible or have their religious liberties curtailed.[35]'

As far as I know, there is no connection at all between Branhamism and the McKay group.

The group which is sometimes known as the "Jesus Christians" are derived from the Children of God/Family, and not the work of William Branham.

I have never even heard of this Mackenzie's church, for that matter.

Dave McKay seems to be inserting himself into the MacKenzie matter in order to try to gain legitimacy and credibility for himself and his cult.

It's part of his MO to behave this way. He's done it with Falun Gong, with the Quakers, and with other causes and organization that he's tried to insinuate himself into.

The link you provided about does not work.

Can you please say a little more about this connection? What's going on with the McKay group in Kenya, please?

Here is link [en.wikipedia.org]

I not say there was a link between Branhamism and McKay. On Wiki it says both groups supported Mackenzie, quote from Massimo.

Massimo said Jesus Christians protested against Mackenzie arrest.

Maybe more connection? I ask here.

You not heard of Mackenzie? I think everyone know of Mackenzie. Over 200 bodies found so far [www.reuters.com]

Then I misunderstood. My mistake.

They'll protest against anything they think will get them attention and legitimacy, McKay's people will.

No, Mackenzie is new to me.

Dave McKay must be feeding his people Mandrax now. Good Lord.

I believe the fellow in the video is named Simon Smith. He has the typically gaunt, vacant manner that most of McKay's people present with. He's been with McKay for about twenty years, Simon has.

Simon Smith is the same person that's in this video, at 3:49.

"While starvation appears to be the main cause of death, some of the victims -- including children -- were strangled, beaten, or suffocated, according to the chief government pathologist Johansen Oduor.

Court documents filed earlier this month said that some of the corpses had their organs removed, with police alleging that the suspects were engaged in forced harvesting of body parts."
