...and a happy belated birthday to David's youngest daughter Christine! She turned 51 yesterday, and as far as we know she is the only one of the McKays' four children who is still part of "the community" to this day. Happy birthday, ma'am!

PS: ...of their four biological children, that is. The McKays had four biological children: Kevin, Gary, Sheri, and Christine. COG names:

Tyrannus - Dave

Lebanon - Cherry

Simon - Kevin

Deborah - Sheri

Bartimaeus - Gary

Tabitha - Christine

:-) Gotcha, David.

Today is Cherry McKay's mother's 96th birthday. Flora Mae King (nee Wallis) is her name, and it's unclear as to whether she is still living. Cherry McKay was born Sherian Joann King on March 6, 1947 in Visalia /Tulare, California, and she married David McKay on July 24, 1964 in Yolo County, CA.

David McKay's mother Alice passed away about six years ago. Rest in peace, ma'am.

Just for your information: Jim Roberts (aka Brother Evangelist) passed away a couple of days before David's mother passed away. Huh. Jim Roberts was a big influence on David, in terms of how David ran the group that he'd founded (the group which eventually came to be called the "Jesus Christians," etc.). More on Jim Roberts here:

David derives pleasure from manipulating people, period. If he figures he can take someone down the garden path by exploiting some ambiguity of language, then he will. But if that doesn't work, he has no problem with out-and-out deceit. It doesn't matter to him; the only point is to get a reaction. His behavior is similar to that of serial murderers, who, once in custody, pretend to wish to divulge information about unsolved crimes, but really don't want anything but attention. He loves to make folks dance. He isn't concerned with his own credibility, just with exerting control over other people, whether it's by enraging them, or deceiving them, or as he must do in his work exploiting people's misery, feigning empathy. The only goal for him is to get a response that he feels he controlled. It's all about control and nothing about dialogue with David.

Wow; time sure does fly, David. It's been a little more than fourteen years since you were made a fool of on "The Jeremy Kyle Show." The episode is still mostly available online, too. Here is a very good clip.

It's depressing to me that you never stopped your predation; you just slowed down a bit, and changed some things about how you run your group. You are one day closer to meeting your maker, however, and you don't have too many Christmases left.

It seems to me that the focus of your group is to promote your words, while constantly fund raising to sustain you and your deception.

Well David, you’ve been doing this for a very long time, decade after decade, with a small, but deeply devoted sect of followers.

Maybe now it’s time for you to slow down and get right with God while you still have time?

It’s never too late to make things right with God if you earnestly seek Him in repentance.

And what about your adult children?

Isn’t it time to get things right with them too?

You are not getting any younger David; in a few years you will be 80.

Think about it. Or better yet pray about it. It is better for you to pray to God then to prey upon others.
