The moment I read page 296 of Raymond Franz's "Crisis of Conscience" where he mentioned how all Jehovah's Witnesses (including myself, himself and the rest of the men of the Watchtower's Governing Body) were "captives of a concept," I began thinking about writing the book "Captives of a Concept."

It tries to help the reader understand the illusionary concept that now holds millions of Jehovah's Witnesses captive by dominating and controlling how they think and act without them realizing it.
