The funniest and best podcast I’ve ever heard - and guess what, it’s all about UM and Sergio:

Fantastic reporting, extremely funny and well worth a listen. For all the pain UM has caused, this little ray of sunshine just keeps giving.

For anyone who thinks that only 'stupid people' can get lured into cults...and for anyone who is baffled that highly educated folk (doctors, lawyers etc) fall for Serge Benhayon's guff...

"At first cult life is fun and alluring. “Love bombing” is the process where a new member is enveloped by this welcoming, exciting, and in some cases glamorous community. Early on members are often required to share secrets or other personal info, which creates a false sense of intimacy. Good behaviour is venerated and failure to comply is punished, which is all rationalized as part of the journey."

“If you Google an organization and multiple posts come up suggesting it might be a cult — don’t go,” says [sociologist] Janja Lalich. [...] cults exist on a continuum ranging to from the extremely harmful to the more benign, “but none of it is good,”

“The modern cult sales pitch really taps into our desire to better ourselves: to improve our careers, to be a better speaker, to look prettier, to look thinner. I think women today are still very vulnerable to those appeals.” And women may also be more vulnerable to certain abusive power dynamics. cultic control techniques mirror the tactics and power dynamics in abusive domestic relationships: the giving and rescinding of love and affection, the demeaning, the isolating from friends and family, and the use of sex as a control instrument."

Just when Universal Medicine thought it was almost time to pop their heads up out of the shadows after their drumming in the New South Wales Supreme Court, then one of their lawyers makes sure the spotlight is still well and truly on them:

And then there’s the little matter of the $1.2 million Benhayon had to lay out to cover the legal bills of the blogger he miserably failed at silencing.

The efforts to expose UM are by no means over. In many ways they have only just begun.

Very interesting article from Josh Robertson at ABC News on how a police officer and member of Universal Medicine advised followers of Benhayon and his ‘socially harmful cult’ how to silence online criticism of Universal Medicine. The officer advised "cult" devotees to file police reports against the blogger alleging "illness, anxiety, trauma":

Got a “possible hack detected” on my account.

No prizes for guessing who’s still trying... lol.

Another very funny and well researched podcast on UM: [soundcloud.com]

And also today, a call for a judicial inquiry in to UM: [www.prime7.com.au]

Glad this cult is finally getting the attention it deserves.

From the home page of website:
"universalmedicinefacts.com"

"In response to legal letters issued by solicitors acting for Esther Mary Rockett the content on this website has been removed.

As at 9 September 2019 the parties have reached a settlement agreement and as part of the agreed terms the following notice will appear at this URL for a period of 12 months in 12 pt font:

Correction and Apology to Esther Rockett

Between 2014 and 2018, articles were published about Esther Rockett on the website "Facts About Universal Medicine" (universalmedicinefacts.com). "Facts About Universal Medicine" is administered in varying capacities by a team of people including Alison Greig, Jonathan Baldwin, Desiree Delaloye, Ray Karam and Isabella Benhayon. Between 2015 and 2016 articles authored by Ray Karam and Alison Greig were also published about Esther Rockett on the "Truth About Serge Benhayon" (truthaboutsergebenhayon.com) website.

Alison Greig, Jonathan Baldwin, Desiree Delaloye, Ray Karam and Isabella Benhayon unconditionally withdraw any allegation in those articles that Ms Rockett had knowingly made false accusations against Mr Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine; that her complaints were baseless; that she was a liar; that she was a bully or "troll" who had engaged in a campaign of cyber abuse; that she had conducted a campaign of hate and published hate material about Universal Medicine; and that she had engaged in a campaign of religious persecution.

Alison Greig, Jonathan Baldwin, Desiree Delaloye, Ray Karam and Isabella Benhayon unreservedly apologise to Ms Rockett for any hurt and offence caused by the articles or any other articles or comments that they have authored making the above allegations, and have removed all such articles and comments that Ms Rockett had notified them of."

Nice to see an apology there to Ms Rockett, it's well overdue. There's a whole lot of other people they could start apologising too as well - those that lost family members and had their families destroyed would be a good start. Can't see it ever happening, but who'd of thought when this thread was started the NSW Supreme Court would of ruled so heavily against UM?

And this little news nugget landed last week too: [www.abc.net.au]

What ever will come out next?
