Wondering if anyone can shed some like on what UM members are like as parents.
If emotions are dangerous, how do they deal with screaming babies/toddler tantrums? Also, if they have to be gentle at all times, how do they deal with boisterous kids, etc.?
Have there been members who left because their kids needed more freedom?

The issues are this-

Children attend his lectures and some workshops- Serge is known to talk about entities and how children can see them and for parents not to deny it. We know of parents that promote 'monsters' as being real to children. Children do not have the same filters regarding what is real and what is made up. They rely on adults to guide them, so cult parents can frighten their children rather than giving them a sense of security the require. We know of several non-cult parents who had dealt with this by taking their child to psychologists. Serge has been known to give children 'songs' to keep the entities away, further compounding the problem.

Serge speak about sexual matters inappropriately with children and young teenagers present.

The group believes that children are adults in kids bodies. ( curiously a common idea amongst pedophiles)

Children are told not to be 'race-y'- therefore suppressing their natural childhood energy and enthusiasm. Race-y means they are full of pranic energy. They are told to be more in their 'hearts' and be 'gentle' and 'still'.

Older children are discouraged from sports and activities such as dance, competition, yoga, football, soccer, etc.

Their diets are restricted, especially with regard to dairy and gluten. This has health implications, but more worryingly creates food phobias. We know of children that lecture the non cult member parent on what food they are eating and recoiling in fear at bread and ice-cream.

Some cult parents think love means no empathy or sympathy. This causes a disconnect and will of course have serious long term consequences on the child and the relationship.

When children are upset they are told they 'are not being themselves' because the parent believes they are channeling entities. Serge teaches that all thoughts and emotions come from the "astral plane". Emotional responses are seen as pranic/astral/evil.

Some cult parents believe that they cannot meet the child's needs unless they have met all of theirs first. For example, Caroline Rafael told a non cult parent that she would prefer "not to feed her child if she was not in the right space as it was not loving to her or the child if done in the wrong energy" (no kids would ever get fed would they...)

Cult parents think all illness is 'clearing karma or prana"- This may lead to them not acting correctly when illness occurs. We know of one parent who thought that her child covered in mozzie bites was 'good clearing'

Cult parents think they are 'playing a role' being a parent ( or partner) and so are the children. For some reason they think it is good not to be in those 'roles' (imposed by society which 'brainwashes' them into it according to their delusional and devious leader)

Teenage children are exposed to inappropriate and incorrect messages about sex. While the group thinks they are anti-child sexualisation, they have created myths around the sexual activities of teenagers, especially girls, to give rationale to their offbeat ideas about sexual development. They have been involved in government funded programs where sexual information has been elicited and publicly divulged. They have set up a new branch called "girls to woman project'. None of them seem to notice or care that Serge met his now wife when she was 13 years old. Some may even justify it as 'special'. It is documented in their EDG notes that young girls have or do stay with the Benhayons. Young (pretty) girls travel from Europe to stay with them also. We'll leave you to decide what that is about.

Of course the biggest danger is the covert indoctrination that will affect young minds and how they see the world. The problem with this group, like all cults, is they dont announce they are f***ing with your mind. They just get you to do some meditation, and then get in there are start feeding you shit. About 15% of the adult population are easily suggestible in this state, and about 85% of children under 15!!! that is alarming. What these kids are learning from their parents or worse, being exposed at meetings, events or via cult-practitioners, is going to form the basis of their world view. It will take years for them to remove or change it, if ever.

There are young woman in the cult now who grew up in other cults. Just like other members who have come from another group, there are incapable of recognizing manipulation, because the manipulation is deep and cellular, and the re-wiring, so to speak, is hard if not impossible to undo. This doesn't make them stupid or bad people, but it removes or tampers with a faculty of critical thinking that may alert them to the bizarre nature of a group, its contradictions, preposterous claims and manipulative nature.

Serge encourages young kids to call him "papa Serge or uncle Serge" which is weird, strange and seems exactly like what you are now thinking. Who wants their child looking up to Serge as if he is something special, when he is clearly not. As a parental role model he is shocking. His children are all working with him. Curtis looks bored shitless, except now he gets to do "Uterus massage" (WTF!) Michael has hot air blown up his arse about how good a musician he is (he's not) Natalie thinks she is a 'seer' and then next messiah. Simone is hiding out in the UK. Being a little older and having seen what went on, we suspect a little wiser to what's really going down. Mum is sidelined 'doing' the books and counting the cash (but giving parenting advice LOL) while Dad is shacked up with a girl they took into their house when she was 13 (leading to the split up of her family and years of misery) They all do what good 'old Dad tells them, dutifully at each meeting setting up the chairs, hanging the black plastic and collecting the cash. That is one family you should not use as a role model. But unsurprisingly, Serge has been successful as portraying it as AMAZING and AWESOME, and all the followers walk around stupidly saying the same thing. It is some seriously messed up shit.

What was the question? What are UM cult members like as parents?? I'll leave you to figure it out.

The truly disturbing thing about all this is that the cult members will acknowledge that while majority of the above is true (having witnessed much of it themselves), it has been "taken out of context by a disgruntled few," thus rendered in their minds "mistruths."

All of the above is considered acceptable by the cult members because they believe that Serge is as amazing as he claims to be; the all knowing bringer of truth, who having passed through various extraordinary incarnations of human existence, has now been sent from another dimension by an alleged Heirarchy of ascended masters in order to impart the one and only truth to all of humanity. Being a divine messenger of supernatural wisdom and ability, his claims to integrity are beyond question in their minds.

It reminds one of the battered wife who stubbornly defends her abusive husband because "nobody knows him the way she does."

The damage being done to children is one of the things that keeps me hammering at this cult. And the abuse of patients, including the terminally and mentally ill, and the molestation, and the starvation, the intimidation...

Prohibiting Serge Benhayon - how you can help - new post on UMA blog.

Excellent new post on the Universal Medicine Cult blog, primarily analyzing the manipulative language employed by Serge to "esoterically" separate his followers from their financial holdings.

According to the PDF flyer of Real Media Real Change's women's health shenanigans at Lennox Head tomorrow, the thing is to be 'live broadcast across Australia'.

Does anyone have any idea how they're going to do that or time to check it out? Might not be too late to notify said broadcaster that UM is a misogynist sexually abusive cult.

Also, for those who haven't heard. RMRC had the cheek to register the event with the International Women's Day org, but it was promptly deregistered after a comprehensive notification featuring quotes, images and a copy of the latest HCCC complaint.

One small step for womankind...

VD, I feel it is really unfair to incriminate Jenny D in the antics of RMRC.

I firmly believe Jenny D was acting in 'good faith' by opening and closing the RMRC Conference last year(December 2012) and was acting, on behalf of the young people who are - actually being cyberbullied.

Hi Treefern ,maybe you are correct but Jenny D or her minders should firstly do some research into who they are going in to bat for .In this case it was the toxic Universal Medicine force and Serge Benhayon .
Anybody dimwit could have told her that - really.
Again ,we are not dealing with a bunch of Girl Guides , with all due respect you know that .
All the best ,Dobbsie

Another thing, cyber bullying of young people is not the issue here .
The people writing on this very forum are being castigated -THEY are the ones being bullied for guess what ?
Having an opinion and the moral rectitude to express that opinion when they know full well that something bad is occurring (and I'm referring to Universal Medicine run by the Benhayon family cartel )

I gotta laugh :
Every course ,every retreat that Uncle Serge holds ,whether its in Lennox Head ,Byron Bay ,Vietnam or Somerset ,the
quoted cost of these events is always referred to as "YOUR INVESTMENT ".
In What ,I ask are you really investing in ?
Maybe
1/ a new Alfa for Curtis
2/ another piece of prime real estate for the Benhayons
3/ A new release for Chris James
4/silencing critics
5/gasoline for the next Book Burning
6/publishing another blistering best seller
7/ another range of esoteric Jewellery for Miranda and the Gals
8/better version of the now famous Esoteric Breast Massage Cream
Et cetera - Dobbsie

Serge Benhayon and his Marionettes at "Real Media Real Change" lobby group seem to have a big problem with Criticism and
On - line anonymity .
I believe the latter was high on the agenda at RMRC recent "love-in" . Yet last week the cult lawyer Paula Fletcher had
no problem posting a message on the universalmedicineaccountability.wordpress.com ........... ANONYMOUSLY !!
I call that five star hypocrisy ,who wouldn't - Dobbsie
