Amazing. Let's hope this gives a big bump in the road for the bastard Tony Robbins.

Apparently, he didn't allow enough ash to develop on the coal bed (which protects the skin from the heat) or that the people wrongly believed they had developed some "Special powers from within" and instead of moving quickly over the bed, they stood still or walked very slowly, thereby negating the protection the coal ash would provide.

Good job, Robbins, you shithead.

Lets see copies of the paperwork people have to sign(in addition to paying money in cash or by credit in order to participate in a TR fire walk.

Anthony Robbins UPW - 21 treated for burns

Many many people have been burned at these events, but its been covered up.

But now a possible class action lawsuit from the injured parties as a group will expose the reality of what is really going on.
People are simply conned by the supreme Confidence Man Tony Robbins, and walking over coals is just a test to see how gullible these people are.
Tony Robbins tries to tell them its mind over matter.
No, coal ash acts as an insulator, no magic there.

But once Robbins gets them hyped up, then he is able to get them to lay down tens of thousands of dollars for more seminars.

Robbins also staffs his events with unpaid "volunteers" to save on labor costs, which means more profit for him.

Perhaps this will lead to a large class action lawsuit against Tony Robbins, and for once Robbins will be held to account for his behavior.
Of course, they will just try to pay these people off with a small settlement to kill the story.
But maybe a class action lawyer won't settle for peanuts, due to the apparent gross negligence at the event.

We may never learn whats going on if the plaintiffs agree to a settlement in which all the records are sealed.

How can ordinary citizens (especially in this economy) find the stamina to hang in against someone with wealth and a fleet of personal assistants?

Most of us dont have entourages. We gotta find our own parking spaces.

NLP Anthony Robbins - the king of the sharks

They need to find a team of lawyers who work on contingency.
The problem there, is all the lawyers care about is getting paid, making a settlement, and agreeing to non-disclosure.

This is why the sharks like Tony Robbins and so many others, can do anything they want. And they know it. A shark knows the fishes are at his mercy.

The only time a shark like Tony Robbins can get brought down, would be if a James Arthur Ray situation happened, or a financial fraud was discivered, and he was prosecuted.

But if all these people band together in a class action, they could bring Robbins down, or at least remove some profits from Robbins.

Be extremely aware of people who are graduates of the Tony Robbins programs.
You either have people who are very naive, and believe the superficial content, and are getting scammed.

Or you have mini-sharks in training, who see EXACTLY what Tony Robbins does to people, and they want to do it to you. Sadly, most people have no clue of how powerful, manipulative and dangerous guys like Tony Robbins are.

Classic Confidence-Man, who is getting away with it for years.

How many of these burn victims will be told (in someway) that it was their own fault for not having the faith or the trust in Tony to let go and "unleash the power within".

Isn't there some lawyer/barrister out there that can bring a serious civil suit against this filthy pig?

It also doesn't help since President Clinton had him over to give a one-on-one to him to "make him more effective". Talk about giving the highest "Thumbs Up" to this crook.

What Anticult said.

My guess is that Robbins leaves human wreckage wherever he holds his seminars. I remember my NLP training and it was sedate compared to the full on emotional and hypnotic assault of Robbins. Anyone who is emotionally fragile or has a underlying psychological issue can be serious messed up in these seminars. Thing is, higher the intensity the harder it is on certain people.

Of course with the participants signing a non-disclosure agreement and whatnot and the general embarrasment these people feel at getting messed up by Robbins, we'll never know the real extent of his damage.

Personally I'd love to see Robbins and his bullsh** empire brought down. The guy is just so fake, rotten and manipulative it's sickening.

He embodies the "Dr. Fox effect" which btw should be required reading for anyone dealing with charismatic LGAT/cult leaders. The experiment itself revealed some serious psychological blindspots people have and not just the gullible either. And the right person properley coached can just have people eating out the palm of his hand.

They are already blaming the victims. The original article quotes a Robbinite follower, that you won't get burned if you are in a "peak state", which of course is a lie.
A brazen lie.
You don't get burned if there is lots of ash covering the coals acting as an insulator, and you pass over quickly.

But Robbins screwed up, got sloppy, and these people BLINDLY walked over red hot coals with their bare feet. Instead of just SOME people going to the hospital for burns, like the usual seminar, you had a herd of Robbins Sheeple running off the cliff in a group.
Think about that.
You cross alone.
So one person crossed, gets burned and is screaming, and the next lines up, and gets burned and starts screaming. And apparently they kept going for a few dozen people!
This is like human lemmings running over a cliff.
Why are people doing this? Because Tony Robbins is a master persuader, who has all of them in a deep "trance" and they will doing almost anything he told them to.

Robbins laughs at these people.
He laughs that he can hype people up so much, they will mindless risk 3rd-degree burns.

James Arthur Ray did the same thing, pushed people to risk their lives, for nothing.

Its just a game for Tony Robbins, and a way to make millions. If he can convince you to risk 3rd degree burns on your feet, then he knows its easy to con-vince you to sign over 50K to attend his endless bogus seminars.
Then it moves to 100K, 250K.
Whatever you got, Robbins Inc is going to take it.

Maybe since this happened to so many, someone will wake-up out of their Robbins Trance, and use a team of class action lawyers to take Robbins out of the marketplace. That remains to be seen.

Maybe they will be able to press charges of gross negligence against Tony Robbins Inc?

Disagree.

Pigs do not pay money and sign release forms before being led to the grill.
