Nice to know, BTW, that Glenn's barcode was only a temporary tattoo. I retract, with apologies, my statement that Glenn, the reservist, is as thick as two planks.

Perhaps just the one plank, given his still questionable ADL affiliations.

Did I tell you he's threatened to kick my head in? Apparently people like me need to be ''shut up''. Yes, this is the same Glen who has been so vocal when slamming the Johnson's for an apparent ''violent attack'', oh the irony...

Were you able to establish any further tenuous contact with Nomen?
Please feel free to disregard my question if it is perceived as impertinent in any way.

It was our good old friend Sisi who sent it. I thought it was quite interesting and definitely worth a mention. I haven't heard from her for months.

You will doubtless ensure that your head never comes within spitting distance of his boot.

Shout out to Styxxx, or Sisi. You done good, girl.

Sisi has been in touch a couple of times previously by email. I'll pass on your regards.

This is the site for the "Mission Interministerielle de viligance et de lutte contre les derives sectaires" (Inter-ministerial mission of vigilance and combat against sectarian aberrations) which gave(and I pray continues to give!) the Scientologists, such a scare....I'm unsure if such "small fry" losers such as McKay would even fall within their ambit....however, I applaud their activities, nevertheless.

It looks an interesting site, Malcolm, and presumably government sponsored.

Have the JC's ever been active in mainland Europe? I should imagine that the language barriers would put a spoke in the Apostle's manipulative wheel when it comes to recruiting there, although I am sure he would not turn his nose up at a French national fortuitously dropping into his lap, a la Reinhart.

Apparently German ''cult busters'' have described the JCs as one of the most dangerous cults in the world today.

With regard to the legal issues, it is best, I think, not to become too convinced as to the merits of any particular action, as each case is tried on its own merits. There is a reason for the word 'try' since very little can be taken as a slam-dunk in legal matters of this kind and most lawyers will suggest that the only way to secure an outcome is to 'try' for one in the court room.

Anyone who has surrendered an asset and now has regrets would be well-advised to seek advice from a legal specialist. Most in the UK will give a free half-hour consultation before taking the case and there are numerous bodies that can give free advice. (Neighbourhood Law Centres, Citizens Advice etc)

The principal difficultly to my mind, would be locate anyone who both falls within a "statute of limitations" timeframe and who would be interested in litigation....it takes years to recover your own "psyche" (i.e. one continues to hope beyond hope, that it's all somehow true, despite whatever "personal fall-outs" one may have had with McKay)...

...we really need to escape the capricious nature of civil litigation(although I wouldn't say "no" to a court victory or two here, protracted though they might be)....and equip the State to somehow tackle the cults legislatively.....

(Europeans would include both Reinehardt and Ulrike, I should think....assuming that Britons, Bob, Alan, Simon, etc are not counted as "mainland European".....(Thatcher would love you, Stoic!!)....there have been many outreaches to Europe....without much recruiting success, to date, it seems!)
