The New Apostolic Church (NAC) is an international organization, headquartered in Switzerland, with exclusive beliefs and claims of salvation only through their Apostles.

The church formed as a result of a schism from the Catholic Apostolic Church founded in circa 1830 by Edward Irving based on visions of Margaret MacDonald. The current (authoritarian) leader (Chief Apostle/Stammapostel) is Richard Fehr. It spread throughout Europe (specifically England and Germany). It came to the US in the late 1800's/early 1900's and has continued to grow.

The church has a long history of association and cooperation with the Nazi party in Germany. The only church to perform ceremonies for Nazi members and allow SS members as ministers.

Many view this sect as a cult because of their exlusive believs and authoritarian structure.
