We should start one. Maybe if we try hard to be a real cult, who is by nature formed based on a mutual lack of respect for Cult Leaders and the effect they have on society, we can earn a spot on Ricks Data Base.:D

They sponsor an event in San Francisco called the Saint Stupid's Day Parade, every April 1st.

All you need to do to participate is be stupid in public.

Its radical. There is NO way you can screw up.

(In a cult, there are a million ways to screw up, so you're tense all the time)

Another sign read, 'God bless us and no one else.'

Finally somone had a sign on which was written,

Seriously, the first thing you lose in any cult is play, humor,and randomness.

Cultmeisters want to monopolize attention, power/energy and money. Anything that 'wastes' these qualities or distracts from the cultmeister is resented.

Use both critical thinking and playful thinking and that'll keep cults out of your 'hood.
