KKK is definately a hate group.

It is clear that the KKK hates anyone who is not white, conservative, a believer in God, a speaker of English, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Yeah, KKK's a hate group.

One of the funniest lines i heard from a KKK was, "I am not a racist, i am a racialist".

Its never ceases to amaze me, that those who are involved in extreme right Christian groups and have this intense fundamentalist belief in Jesus, seem to be the most judgemental, divisive, and hateful people out there!
Whatever happened to "judge not" and "love your enemies"?

That "platform" is hateful towards gays, immigrants, women's rights, civil rights, and is xenophobic, among other things.

A great way to help reduce crime, would be to take away the guns from the right wingnuts!

You use capitals - indicating you need attention.

You seem to be oblivious to the history of your movement - indicating your either filled with propoganda or your not fully aware of the feelings that radiate from the name you assumed.

And yes, you are a hate movement, for you are trying to destroy what is not to your liking.

Hypocracy and subtlety.

KKK is not about equality but about pride and love for ones white heritage.

Even though the focus is on white pride, the side effect is the alienation of other cultures.

Not much different than radical Islam when you boil it down.

Of course the KKK is a hate group .

The KKK believes that everybody who is not white to be inferior to them .
What about Michael Donald who was killed in 1981 because the Klan in Alabama feared that he is no longer feared enough by society ?
What about Charles Lee , the Klansman from Jasper who is admired by aryan nations because he lives in the very town in which poor David Byrd was murdered ?
At least , the KKK killed thousands of people !

Clearly , the KKK is a hate group .

There are something like 50 (?) different types of Klans. Some are quite proud of being hateful and violent. Others, esp those who signed onto David Duke's recent "New Orleans Protocol" have rejected violence. ALL promote intolerance toward others who aren't "their kind" Duke has said he wants to take the Klan out of the cow pasture and into the board rooms, or something like that, which I guess means he's trying to make the group (s) have more mainstream appeal.
The other thing is that a lot of these groups are holding back on the blatant hate talk, symbols, clothing, etc. with new people. When the new recruit is ready, they start bringing on the more hardcore stuff. Like former aryan nations recruiter floyd Cochran said, when he would go into a town to recruit young people he wouldn't say Hey you want to talk about Hitler? He'd talk about the Bible. The other stuff would come later.
A lot of folks in these groups have some sort of cognitive dissonance, they'll say they aren't hateful then make some kind of joke about drowning a Jewish or gay person (though they would phrase it differently of course)
The rejection of violence is probably a crock as well. In the past couple decades--and probably in response to the ability of victims to sue over discriminatory activities--The Klan has developed a subtler, non-physcial form of violence that involves group stalking, harassment, character assasination, gaslighting and other behaviors aimed at driving some minority or outsider out of a neighborhood, town, organization or job. The victim will find it hard to sue or take any anti-discrimination action. It may not make the victim bleed, but it can destroy someone's life just as much as physical violence.

Alot of the supposed hangings carried out by "the klan" were lawful. People, both black and white, were ussually hung for their crimes before we had lethal injection or the electric chair. Nearly all the people who are claimed to have been hanged by "the klan" were guilty of crimes ranging from theft and assaults to rape and murder. So how many of those "thousands of people" were actually killed by the klan, or killed based on their race? Very few, if any. It's a historical lie, much like the lie that every German during Hitlers rule was an antisemite.

The klan most certainly is a hate group, but not always guilty of everything it's been accused of.

For those interested there is a large subsection about the Ku Klux Klan at this Web site.

See [www.culteducation.com]

KKK members have been convicted of many violent crimes and articles describing arrests and convictions are archived here.

For more information about the Klan there is also the Web site Southern Poverty Law Center also named Klan Watch.

See [www.splcenter.org]

The KKK has a horrible history as a hate group marked by violence and crime, which is well documented.

The Klan tries to clean up it's image every few decades, but it's still the same old BS. The Klan is a hate group and terrorist organization at heart and always has been.

The Klan itself seems to be losing membership to Neo-Nazi groups and Identity "Churches" these days. Too many groups and not enough nimrods to go around I guess?
