I am generally not in the habit of disrespecting my childs privacy. But I also feel the need to protect him from being proseletyzed into an organization that appears cultish or promotes hate. I would like some opinions and possibly some ideas on how to address this situation with out creating an arena of conflict. My son and I are usually able to communicate with understanding. Lately I've noticed some bizarre changes in his behavior and dress. He has been asking me if he can shave his head. This frightens me, furthermore I have found literature that led me to a particular website that I personally find disturbing to say the least. I would try to get more involved and if he is participating in a cult get him out asap, distract him with something he likes.
