The Jehovah's Witnesses have established semi-secretive Hospital Liaison Committees to represent incapacitated members' wishes (and the wishes of their parent organization, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society) to the medical community.

I have written a letter incorporating a brief discussion about how this practice constitutes, in part a fiduciary relationship and how the misrepresentation of secular facts by the Society could create problems for both the Society and for the HLC members.
