It was nice of you Sahara71 to leave out the part where he calls Mooji's feet hairy monkey paws.. That sounds racist to me. He also compares Mooji to Bob Marley (because he's also a Jamaican with dreadlocks?). Reminds me of the "coreism" guy who said in his video that Mooji should stop the guru-thing and do his reggae-thing or something (because he's a Jamaican with dread

The atrocities committed by Anders Bering Breivik in 2011 destroyed, along with the lives he claimed that day, the notion that anyone who is anti-Islam was a friend. However, Breivik might have favorably impressed one before he chose to shoot unarmed children in the back. He was very well read, had his own money, and radiated the illusion of vigorous health through steroid abuse. But, anyone

“Where is the cult? Where are the followers? Where is the cult located? Does it have a website? NO.” We have gone over this a dozen times. Doesn’t Eric remember telling his followers that 1,000,000,000,000,000 was 10,000,000? Doesn’t he remember convincing people his new age website Globalone was devoted to science of consciousness? As you can see here, Eric Allen Bell claimed that he ha

As I continue my research of Eric Allen Bell I have found evidence that he is secretly involved in the Ramtha School of Enlightenment. JZ Knight, the woman who claims to channel "Ramtha" has provided Bell with unlimited amounts of money. She expects him to spread her teachings, especially to people whom he knows in the Entertainment Industry who are famous or powerful. As to whether

You practice at a reputable Zen center. You go to a dharma talk and the teacher raves about the film, What the Bleep Do We Know? The teacher means well, but is equating mere inspiration with Dogen Zenji's ordinary mind. And the teacher doesnt know that the film is based on erroneous science and tied to the Ramtha cult. There you are in your Zen center, listening to this drivel. I

Hello psyborgue. "Just because somebody is spiritual, charismatic, has followers, and is critical of major world religions does not make one a cult leader. Does he have a group with a totalist structure? " I am not sure what "totalist structure" is, but in the cult of Eric Allen Bell one is free to come, and go. "Does his organization practice thought reform?&qu

QuoteBrad69"The Secret" - which I haven't seen yet - talks about the Law of Attraction. Esther and Jerry Hicks were involved in the movie which, much like "What the Bleep?" has attracted a bit of a cult following. I've got an early copy of The Secret on an old hard drive. It's basically Chaos Magick 101, although I wouldn't expect most people here to kno

If anyone could help me research this more, it would be most appreciated. I recently landed a job at a summer academic camp at the University of South Florida called SuperCamp. I was extremely hopeful after several weeks of job searching. I thought I would get some extra money and get to try out my instructional abilities. I was wrong. The other staff members and I were met with psychologic

Walter Berlin seems to be trying to expunge bad news of himself off the internet. He's going to be pretty busy considering there are a wealth of very credible newspaper articles about him. There's also a damning 60 Minutes report. Walter Bellin is credited with creating the Turning Point course. You can read plenty about this course here: In particular, he considers this minor

Its now three years later and there is an active message board discussing Ramtha School of Enlightenment. A big part of the hold that RSE has is that it is based in Yelm, Washington, and collectively had a big economic influence on the area. People feel scared they will lose financial as well as social ties if they leave. RSE a Doomsday Cult? All kinds of doomsday stuff, Comet Elenin

Agehananda Bharatis distinction between aesthetic and empirical is the sane, democratic alternative to the unholy, destructive marriage called "occult science." Perhaps Swami Agehananda Bharati (the former Leopold Fisher of Austria) can help. Bharati made a radical change as a teenager in Vienna when he chose to become a Hindu. That was in the late 1930s before he joined the Austria

The SGI is a Destructive Cult by Definition 1). Destructive cults actively recruit new members, often through deceptive "front" organizations. The SGI has the Boston Research Center, the Institute for Oriental Philosophy, and others where their affiliation to SGI is rarely if ever mentioned. 2). Destructive cults claim to offer absolute Truth. Their teachings are not (to them) mer

Unfortunately time is short, so more specifics will follow soon. But what has happened in the last day is a classic example of a persuasion technique, used on the internet, and far more powerfully in person. That is a cognitive FLOODING technique, being used by Bernie Poolman & Co. Its designed for new Desteni members, and for those who might be interested in Desteni, who might come acr

Twitter jamesaray OR jamesray Interesting coincidence, that just yesterday I mentioned about the remaining followers of an imploding sect/cult being "down the rabbit hole", which is an image used even by sect leaders themselves. The sect leader tries to lead his remaining followers into a delusional false perception of reality. They even try to make it into a "joke" wher

yes, regardling Tony Parsons. A quick search before seemed to have him come up with some Ramtha cult stuff, but that does not appear to be the case. One would have to look into him, very very carefully. What is a "residential"? Sounds like a live-in LGAT seminar? That would have to be analyzed. People should be very cautious with this non-dual stuff, in my view. For example, for

a quick word about this blog Byron Katie and Janaki First off, its good that someone finally stepped forward to give a little hint of how the sausage is being made behind the curtain, even from afar in Europe. The fact that she is still deeply emotionally enmeshed with Byron Katie, will probably make it readable for those deeply involved in the Byron Katie system. (every single one of t

Hi Guys, I have a very good friend who has really gotten into Sai Maa and I'm a bit concerned. There are numerous 'gurus' from India of all sorts. Sai Maa reminds me alot of JZ Knight (Ramtha). There are videos of Sai Maa up on youtube and consciousmedianetwork. If you really listen to what she is saying there is no profound discourse, it's really just common new thought/

what's interesting about this, is that it explains how this system works. Some guy writes a story, that is not true. (in this case, its an older person, so most folks would cut the guy some slack for some tall tales...). But he puts together a good story, and it gets printed. Then the Oprah show hears about this "good story" and puts it on the show...no fact checking. Chick

It appears that the What the Bleep film is quite excellent for getting people to regress and ditch their adult critical thinking skills. Totally different from the Jewish tradition of using intellect and critical thought as PART of the spiritual path, not as something seen as undermining spirituality at all. For fun, you can do RR.com message board search. Put 'Bleep' in the wor

I like how a natural type of enlightenment occurs, only after people quit these fake enlightenment salesmen groups. They are quite gentle on the homepage of the EMF website, which is good. The bottom line though, is that Ramtha, JZ Knight, is a complete and utter self-conscious fraud, out to make the big bucks. Granted, she good at what she does in terms of getting people to go in deeper. B
