MLM wannabes like Hermia go to these LGAT seminars as they are seduced by the Guru, and also to try and market their own products inside the seminars, and to copy and learn from the sales techniques of the LGAT Guru and their staff.

Megan-Josh were in the Herbalife MLM before they joined the James Ray system.

Hermia has been trying to get closer and personally connect with James Ray for quite some time, attending other James Ray seminars, and apparently even tweeting over her direct cell phone number? Making comments in the media would also serve the same purpose, trying to get some attention from the Guru.

James Arthur Ray is out on bail and Tweeting, trying to reframe being in jail as part of a greater good.

Ray is trying to reframe his homicide charges and time spent in jail as a good thing, and he himself as the bringer of such good. Ever the positive thinker, Mr. James "I killed four people" Ray!

James Ray is using his main metaphorical themes in his tweeting...notice how in Modern Magick he used the image of the sun/moon, light/dark.
He has tied that in with his name of "Ray", and being "light" and all that type of hypno-imagery that can be very effective for his followers in Deep Trance Now.

So he is now trying to reframe being in jail and getting charged as being the "dark" which is going to lead to a "greater light".
Notice how he links himself to "God" again, and the origin of the Universe itself from the bible!

James Ray is a reckless, greedy LGAT Guru, who has damaged and hurt many people.
Now he is trying to hide behind his METAPHORS, and reframe himself as being "the light".
Metaphors are used in coversational hypnosis, which is what James Ray is trying to do there, to his remaining followers.

In the new testament it also says..."I am the light", and James Ray is playing on that.
James Ray has conditioned and is trying to conditions some of his inner followers to think about him in exactly those terms, as one with God, as God.
Same old song and dance, as so many other Gurus.

And there's no "what did I do to attract this?" He's starting with the biblical quotes, and of course WAY out of context.
No more Law of Attraction for Ray?

Many Gurus when they get busted by the law, try to pull-off the Jesus protocol.

They almost always say...after all...in the bible Jesus was also convicted and crucified by the government, just like the crooked Guru!
So by that logic, they are just like Jesus, they are also the "light".

So James Ray is cleverly using hypnotic metaphors, and even the "law of attraction" in those tweets. After all, if James Ray is "the light" he was also chosen by God/Universe to be crucified by the government.

But James Ray jumped to the old testament, and that is DELIBERATE. He knows many of his core believers CORE BELIEFS are related to the bible. So James Ray has inserted himself right INSIDE those core beliefs in the James Ray LGAT seminars, and is reinforcing that in those tweets.

This is why his followers are so fanatical about James Ray, he has inserted himself into their core beliefs, and he uses specific LGAT and NLP techniques to do so, which he learned from Tony Robbins and many others.

In an old pre-sweat lodge/prison tweet he mentions Jesus saying "ye shall know them by their fruits" which refers to something about a good tree not being able to produce bad fruit and a bad tree not being able to produce good fruit. I don't think he'll be using that quote again...

along with the hypnotic metaphors...
also note that James Ray opens his tweet by saying...

That is very carefully written and deliberate. That is targeted at his remaining followers as seeing themselves as 'elite' and special.
He wants them to see themselves as being part of the very few that are able to "understand" what is really happening. The entire world sees James Ray as a reckless greedy Guru, but only the elite Inner Circle are special enough to understand what is really going on, as they are the chosen inner group, the "very few" elite.
Standard stuff.

He also closes with a direct COMMAND to the reader.

So his inner circle followers will follow his command, and open up th bible and read Genesis again. While they are reading, they will be thinking about James "the light" Ray, and reinforcing the programming James Ray has put into their core beliefs about the enlightened Godman James "the light" Ray.
Aka, Death Ray.

These LGAT Gurus and those from The Secret love using the new testament bible, as that can easily be linked with Gnosticism, and The Secret, and New Thought and the Christ Consciousness.
They tell people that Jesus in the bible was an enlightened person who learned The Secret aka New Thought.

What that then means, is that they can say the Guru has also attained enlightenment just like Jesus (aka Christ Consciousness) and thus is also One with God, and thus is God.

So you better spend every dollar you can borrow, to go to all his LGAT seminars to learn to also attain enlightenment and become a Godman like them.
And then you can be rich instantly and do ALL things, and even have supernatural miracle powers over nature. That is the pitch they make behind closed doors to the inner circle folks.

When looked at with a trained-eye who can see his specific techniques in action, James Ray is simply a transparent, obvious, extremely manipulative, reckless, greedy narcissist without a conscience for anything other than himself and his interests.

There is one light being shined down on the darkness in all of this--the spotlight that has been trained on the shadowy figure of James Arthur Ray.

The light of the law and of critical analysis of these LGAT gurus is helping to illuminate the enormous corruption and darkness in the New Thought Get-Rich-Like-God schemes.

James Ray is using metaphor pacing-leading in his Twitter-persuasion. He sets the metaphors up, and then moves them along to shape meaning and perception.
James Ray has set himself up as "the light", and he suggests his followers to "dance in the light".
He has framed his manslaughter charges as "the dark" and wants his followers to embrace that too. They have to embrace the dark, to be a James Ray dancer.

In his seminars he also leads and grooms followers to embrace the "dark side" as can be seen in the horrible behavior of some of his followers during his seminars, and after.

"embrace the dark" is actually a good metaphor for what James Ray really does himself, and with his inner followers.

Going to keep close watch on the James Ray twitter-persuasion tactics.
For some reason, some critics have labelled James Ray as "stupid", but that is a serious error. James Ray is reckless, greedy, careless, sociopathic, a copier of others techniques, and totally self-interested, but "stupid" is not an appropriate label.

He knows how to persuade, and how to persuade using metaphors, which is a very advanced persuasion tactic. That is called Mastering Metaphors in conversational hypnosis from NLP, which is a part of what he does.

There is very advanced work in conversational persuasion and "hypnosis", and that uses metaphors very much like James Ray is currently attempting to do on Twitter. This is targeted at his current followers, many of who have already been deeply programmed with those metaphors at his intense seminars, so this is just a reminder, an anchor, a reframe, and fine-tuning, and can work on them very powerfully.
The metaphors work directly on the unconscious, as they can internally reframe how a person can think about a person or situation.

The way to counteract those techniques, is by using accurate facts and accurate metaphors to analyze the situation.
