To Rick Ross,

How come Chris Butler or The Science of Identity is not listed on your group information archives?

QNet maybe link to SI too. Co-founder Joseph Bismark is a disciple of Chris Butler. QNet employ the same tactic of flooding google with fake sites and fake articles to mislead people inquiring about its fraudalent business schemes. I'm guessing QNet maybe the refined version of a similar scam, started 30 years ago in Hawaii by Butler's disciples but was shortlived. Worth looking into.

Good work! Yes, Joseph Bismark is intimately involved in this Pyramid scheme and was even arrested for it. As you may recall, he is the same guy who is the owner of record of one the two Lanikai ocean front homes occupied by Chris Butler. Just search “Joseph Bismark” with any other term i.e. pyramid or cult or Tulsi or whatever interests you. In addition, he is associated with QuestNet and Down to Earth.

Here are two interesting stories from the same blog:

1) …The Gold Coast City Council has unwittingly entered into a relationship with an organisation that has communes on the Gold Coast and preaches polygamy and arranged marriages.
As part of its Active and Healthy Program the council has joined forces with the Australian School of Meditation and Yoga to offer yoga classes, which past participants claim are a gateway to the Science of Identity organisation.

A former member of six years, who wanted to be identified only as Ashley, said he joined when he was 15…. When his parents became worried about him leaving home Ashley was told by one of the disciples to ‘just lie’. The group encouraged him to leave his family and Ashley was told that his mother and father were not really his family, just random souls he had encountered…
Does anyone know if Butler recruits young people on Oahu and does he use organizations like the YMCA?

2) … “They have interesting ‘facts’ they put out about homosexuality. I was told that AIDS can live on warm surfaces for 48 hours, so that you can pick it up from toilet seats, and that kids can pick it up by putting fingers in their mouths. “They tell stories that gays eat faeces and have up to 2,000 sexual partners a year. “[They also taught] that by chanting you’d be cured of being gay,” he said.
Leaving the cult was the only way to find out any different, Justin said, as children in the group are all home-schooled. “My education was practically non-existent. Everything you do in the cult is pretty much watched, and you’re insulated and isolated and you only associated with people inside the cult…

Here are some more links for those of you who enjoy research. Bismark clearly has SEO specialists working on his web reputation and they seem to like Facebook. I see several facebook pages linking to both Bismark and Tulsi Gabbard. His association with the Kony movement are worth looking into.

Tulsi Gabbard is hiding the truth. Her handlers are creating fake posts on craigslist honolulu rants and raves to fool voters. This is what real vets think of Tulsi:

Just in from Allison Morris · Waialua, Hawaii "I served under Tulsi in the Hawaii Army National Guard. She was the worst Conmmander I ever had. Full of nice words but no action. Soldiers approached her and informed her of various harrassment issues and she turned her head and didn't do anything about them. We were unsure if she was incompetent or a coward, but she did nothing when the opportunity presented. She swept everything under the rug and catered to those who out ranked her. She is a master at saying the right things but has no action to back her words. I find it hard to believe that she cares about Hawaii and the issues that are out there. She cares about herself and that is it, what ever it takes for her to move forward, she will do."

Here is the search page for postings about Tulsi. Look how her experts are trying to bury the bottom post asking about Hare Krishna!

That link above will not last for long

Please help Henry and me create some more public awareness of this rediculous cult and Butler's little puppet.

5 Things You Should Know About Chris Butler

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CHRIS BUTLER

This is my list of the 5 things people should know about Chris Butler and his dangerous cult. I am sure others on this forum have their own list. My list comes from reports and friendships with exer’s who have escaped his clutches over the years. I have also formed my conclusions from primary historical sources such as transcripts and cult correspondences. Therefore, anyone considering joining this cult should be very cautious and consider the experiences of those who have lived under the Butler domain for a few years to decades.

1. Chris Butler is a charismatic, narcissistic, con man. He has no special pipeline to a g0dhead. He is a self-appointed guru who only cares about his own comfort. He has deluded himself and his followers into believing that he is some sort of Christ, Guru of the Universe, or Messiah for all time. In reality he is paranoid, chronically feigns illness, and displays many phobias. He lives in fear of the world. He has become increasingly secretive and reclusive over the years. He simultaneously loathes but is irrevocably dependent on his followers. He is trapped in the fable of his own making.
2. Chris Butler enjoys the power he obtains from manipulating thousands of followers to do his bidding. He is the penultimate puppet master pulling the strings behind many businesses and political campaigns. He has created a sophisticated network, based on the lies he has perpetuated about himself that brings adulation and millions of dollars yearly.
3. Chris Butler has destroyed many marriages and families who have sacrificed their years, life savings, labor, time, opportunities, and educations, for his selfish purposes. The children of serious followers are shipped off to a school in the Philippines for further indoctrination and isolation from society. They are all fooled into doing this by believing he is g0d’s representative and pure servant. They are brainwashed into believing that by serving Butler, even by eating the spit off his plate will purify their souls.
4. Chris Butler has made up his own theology that bears little resemblance to the Gaudiya Sampradaya, the disciplic succession of which he claims to be a part. He draws authority from this line but breaks many of their principles. He forbids his followers from reading the works of gurus in his supposed line. There are many examples of his deviations; one being that after he took sanyassi (a life-long commitment to serve as a celibate monk) he breaks this vow to marry the wife of a follower who has children. There are no new public writings or photographs since the 1980’s. His books and videos are paltry examples at best of Vaishnavism. His followers live a life of censorship. They are forbidden to associate with non-Butlerites or hear different points of view. Butler’s debates are not based on knowledge but on straw man arguments.
5. Chris Butler is the ultimate taker who gives nothing in return, except for methods and mantras for people to self-hypnotize themselves into thinking that serving Butler is the highest purpose in life. He preys on the lost, the curious, the idealist, the naïve, and takes no responsibility for the damages in his wake. He does not care for anyone except for what he can gain from them.

I could write an essay on every point that follows. It is a good guideline to help avoid falling into Butler’s cult. From this information it is easy to ascertain that Chris Butler is a very dangerous cult leader.

By Rick Ross, Expert Consultant and Intervention Specialist

Ten warning signs of a potentially unsafe group/leader.

1. Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability.
2. No tolerance for questions or critical inquiry.
3. No meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget, expenses such as an independently audited financial statement.
4. Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies and persecutions.
5. There is no legitimate reason to leave, former followers are always wrong in leaving, negative or even evil.
6. Former members often relate the same stories of abuse and reflect a similar pattern of grievances.
7. There are records, books, news articles, or television programs that document the abuses of the group/leader.
8. Followers feel they can never be "good enough".
9. The group/leader is always right.
10. The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.

Ten warning signs regarding people involved in/with a potentially unsafe group/leader.
1. Extreme obsessiveness regarding the group/leader resulting in the exclusion of almost every practical consideration.
2. Individual identity, the group, the leader and/or God as distinct and separate categories of existence become increasingly blurred. Instead, in the follower's mind these identities become substantially and increasingly fused--as that person's involvement with the group/leader continues and deepens.
3. Whenever the group/leader is criticized or questioned it is characterized as "persecution".
4. Uncharacteristically stilted and seemingly programmed conversation and mannerisms, cloning of the group/leader in personal behavior.
5. Dependency upon the group/leader for problem solving, solutions, and definitions without meaningful reflective thought. A seeming inability to think independently or analyze situations without group/leader involvement.
6. Hyperactivity centered on the group/leader agenda, which seems to supercede any personal goals or individual interests.
7. A dramatic loss of spontaneity and sense of humor.
8. Increasing isolation from family and old friends unless they demonstrate an interest in the group/leader.
9. Anything the group/leader does can be justified no matter how harsh or harmful.
10. Former followers are at best-considered negative or worse evil and under bad influences. They can not be trusted and personal contact is avoided.

Ten signs of a safe group/leader.
1. A safe group/leader will answer your questions without becoming judgmental and punitive.
2. A safe group/leader will disclose information such as finances and often offer an independently audited financial statement regarding budget and expenses. Safe groups and leaders will tell you more than you want to know.
3. A safe group/leader is often democratic, sharing decision making and encouraging accountability and oversight.
4. A safe group/leader may have disgruntled former followers, but will not vilify, excommunicate and forbid others from associating with them.
5. A safe group/leader will not have a paper trail of overwhelmingly negative records, books, articles and statements about them.
6. A safe group/leader will encourage family communication, community interaction and existing friendships and not feel threatened.
7. A safe group/leader will recognize reasonable boundaries and limitations when dealing with others.
8. A safe group/leader will encourage critical thinking, individual autonomy and feelings of self-esteem.
9. A safe group/leader will admit failings and mistakes and accept constructive criticism and advice.
10. A safe group/leader will not be the only source of knowledge and learning excluding everyone else, but value dialogue and the free exchange of ideas.

Don't be naïve, develop a good BS Detector.
You can protect yourself from unsafe groups and leaders by developing a good BS detector. Check things out, know the facts and examine the evidence. A safe group will be patient with your decision making process. If a group or leader grows angry and anxious just because you want to make an informed and careful decision before joining; beware.

Haribol Special Self Appointed
Posted by: Vera City ()

Here are a couple of pages of the publication where Butler proclaimed himself to be Jagat Guru, Guru of the Universe. The paper was published not long after the ISCKON guru AC Bhaktivedanta died in the 1970's. He is not so subtly showing he is on equal standing with a Hindu g0dhead Chaitanya (incarnation of Krishna), Christ, and former gurus in the disciplic line. He considers himself "Self Effulgent" as implied by the title. This newpaper was reasonably critical of the ISCKON system of "appointed acharyas" and yet it was simultaneously stating that Butler was now the Prabhupad as he took on the role of initiating disciples. The difference was that he appointed himself. Bhaktivedanta died without passing the baton after generations of acharyas in a disciplic line back going all they way back to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He did not select one soul to carry on the mission. Perhaps he died knowing there was no one qualified, perhaps he died knowing his sanyassis and GBC leaders were crooks, pedophiles, and murderers, perhaps he was poisoned. No one knows for sure. What is known is that the great opportunist Siddhaswarupananda Butler wasted no time in setting himself up and building his own empire/scam.

The only standard by which Butlerites were told to check out if he indeed was the next Jagat Guru was to look at the fruits, check out scripture for the qualities of a guru, and trust the Lord in your own heart. The caveat was that if you were serious and followed Butler sincerely, then why of course, you would see that Butler was the ONE, the Neo, the Moadib! Followers were told to check out the fruits while Bulter quoted Jesus. Of course the cult is so secretive now that you never really can see the fruits or hidden agendas, much less of Butler in the flesh. You only hear the myths passed on by senior members of the cult. If you get Krishna then Butler is for real. If you didn't get Krishna, then you are not sincere or pleasing enough for the master to impart Krishna mystically to you. So you keep on trying and working hard. But people would never admit they didn't have Krishna... Followers are told to check scripture for confirmation. The only problem was followers did not read Sanscrit and are not allowed to read any other guru's commentaries or source scriptures. Butler himself was no vedic scholar. You were told that if you were advanced enough, all you had to do is look at the Lord in your heart to confirm Butler's divinity. If you could not see that he was a Jagat Guru, then you were considered envious, wanted to be a guru yourself, or were caught up in Maya and ignorance. You are somehow deficient if you can not see that he is a pure devotee. You just need to chant more, please the guru more, and donate more money. Then his self effulgence would be self evident. So followers are always caught in a gordian knot.

This is the man whom the Gabbard's have venerated and secretly followed for years. Tulasi grew up giving him garlands and bowing down to his feet and making offerings to him at an alter. She went to his school in the Philippines. Gabbard's wife is a devout follower and claimed in a personal email to an exer that she experiences bliss and Krishna's presence by chanting and following Butler. The website this was published has since disappeared.

Butler is a master of self-promotion. These are only 2 pages of a multiple page newspapaper. Butler wrote the script and Tusta, his follower did the research, found the quotes, edited and corrected
the English. The interview [as were all his interviews and television shows] was tightly scripted.

I just posted this tidbit at Topix. Does anyone here know more about Aniruddha Sherbow?

You are, of course, referring to Aniruddha Sherbow who was stalking Tulsi Gabbard back in 2011.

No, I am not a stalker. Parents here in Hawaii should be made aware of someone preying on their teens and more dangerous than most stalkers. Ask Tulsi Gabbard because she knows all about him and how he recruits at beach parks in Waimanalo and Kailua offering food and music. Words from one teen: “…Ashley, said he joined (Chris Butler) when he was 15…. When his parents became worried about him leaving home Ashley was told by one of the disciples to ‘just lie’. The group encouraged him to leave his family and Ashley was told that his mother and father were not really his family, just random souls he had encountered…”
Chris Butler has been supporting the Gabbards (Mike, Carol, and now Tulsi) for many years with cash under the table. Perhaps Aniruddha was also a follower of Chris Butler since he has a Hare Krishna cult name. Tulsi also has a cult name (Tulasi) and she lied about changing it.

You really hit each points with lots of accuracy

I would like to adress the email that was posted on Honolulu voice Beat

Jason Rohm · Works at Self Employed Entrepreneur(COULD IT BE BUTLER HIMSELF )
I’m sure I’m not the only one who has noticed Henry Jolicoer’s odd/obsessive behavior towards Tulsi Gabbard. I decided to look into it to find out what his deal is. It turns out he’s a professional “deprogrammer” who makes his living by labeling minority religions “cults” and then he gets paid to kidnap members of those groups. NOW IF THIS IS WHAT BUTLER IS TELLING HIS FOLLOWERS REGARDING HENRY JOLICOEUR
WE CAN SEE THE LEVEL OF DESPERATION ....LIES AND DECEITS THAT BUTLER AND HIS MINIONS ARE CAPABLE OFF

(IT IS IMPORTANT FOR ME THAT IF ANY OF BUTLER FOLLOWERS READ THIS POST ....THAT SURE I WOULD LIKE YOU TO BE DEPROGRAM
AND STOP BELEIVING THAT YOU NEED BUTLER FOR YOUR SALVATION ...THAT YOU BECOME MORE FREE IN MIND AND SPIRIT.
BUT I AM A PEACEFUL GRAN FATHER OF 3 ...I WOULD NEVER BE ANGAGE IN KITNAP OF OTHER HUMAN BEINGS.
A TOTAL OF NEARLY 5000 VIEWERS LOOK UP MY VIDEO ON YOUTUBE AND IT GROWING EVERY DAY .
THAT THE ONLY WAY I WILL TO DEPROGRAM ....ITS TO SOW SEEDS OF UNCERTAINTY IN THE MIND AND HEART OF THE FOLLOWERS .

He also considers himself a “rebirther” and advertises on the internet that he can hypnotize people to dig out “repressed memories” of child abuse so they can go to court and win money.AS FAR AS TESTIMONIAL OF THE BUTLER EX DISCIPLES ..THERE IS NO NEED TO HYPNOTISE ...ITS CLEAR THAT THERE WHERE EXTREME ABUSES OF CHILDREN,S IN BUTLER CULT.....AND MOST ARE TO POOR .. AND IN FEAR OF THE CULT .....I HOPE SOME WILL STAND UP AND TAKE THE BASTARD TO COURT He trolls the Internet with the hopes of recruiting followers and tries to make people think they could strike it rich. I HAVE NO FOLLOWERS ...NEVER WILL HAVE ...I AM A THERAPIST ..THATS IT ..
FOLLOWERS OF BUTLER HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR FROM ME ....I AM NOT HIDING LIKE BUTLER YOU CAN WRITE ME ANYTIME at henry@sacredindia.info

His obsession with “Hare Krishna” stems from the fact that he was formerly a swami with the International Society of Krishna Consciousness (his name was Hanuman Swami.) However, because of his odd and Nazi-like attitude and behavior, no one wanted to be his disciple...I NEVER OFFER MYSELF AS A GURU TO ANYONE >>>>I DO NOT BELEIVE IN THE BLUE GOD >>AS ULTIMATE GOD >>>FOR A VERY LONG TIME NOW. This made him extremely angry and envious so he left ISKCON and has ever since has been trying to get followers and disciples with a “religion” of his own concoction: a strange blend of Freudian/Jungism psychology, New Age philosophy, Raman Rishi, hypnotherapy, and Yoga Nidra.
WELL THIS GUY SAID JUST ABOUT ANYTHING HE COULD THINK OFF TO MAKE ME A SCARY PERSON ....
ALL BASE ON LIES AND DECEITS ......MAIN POINT IS ..... IF ANY DISCIPLES OF BUTLER IS BEING TOLD BY THE CULT THAT HENRY JOLICOEUR IS THE PERSON THAT WILL COME TO THE PHILIPPINE TO SNACH KIDS THAT BUTLER AS ALREADY KIDNAP FROM SOME FATHERS IN AMERICA ,AUSTRALIA AND EUROPE ..ITS NOT TRUTH ...HENRY IS BUSY BOTTLE FEEDING IN GRAN CHILDRENS

This seems self-evident, but we need to find some way to prove it.

Mike Gabbard (Krishna Katha das) has claimed to be a "successful small businessman." But we've looked at those businesses, such as "Hawaiian Toffee Treasures" and his self-produced "Stand as One" music CD and wondered how he is supporting a family with five kids and spending all or most of his time doing cult work. Mike's business success is not very visible. Both he and Carol Gabbard have been paid employees of the Science of Identity Foundation (See the Honolulu Monthly August 2004 article "Who is Mike Gabbard"). Mike also says he does substitute teaching on his online biography.

Carol Gabbard (Devahuti dasi) once ran an EcoQuest International business, a multi-level marketing type of business, that involved selling expensive (more than $500) room air cleaners such as the ones made by Alpine. Exaggerated health claims were made for for these air cleaners and EcoQuest International got into trouble with the FTC. I suspect that Carol sold these expensive cleaners to other cult members. She probably also recruited to cult members to be EcoQuest International dealers.

We need to find some way of proving that tax-exempt money is going from Jagad Guru Chris Butler and/or the Science of Identity Foundation cult directly to the Gabbards.

Tulsi also has a cult name (Tulasi) . . .

Doesn't matter if the spelling is "Tulsi" or "Tulasi." This name looks like an initiate name given to her by Jagad Guru Chris Butler. All of the five Gabbard kids have names that look like initiate names from a guru.

Thanks for your reply, atheist. Beyond being self-evident, you can report the suspicion of tax fraud to both the IRS and the Hawaii Dept. of Taxation. Both have fraud departments and will investigate. Frank Martin (Tulsi’s supposed landlord is probably violating GET laws). Since Tulsi has never admitted any involvement with Chris Butler, I think she must answer questions about her cult name. With Tom Cruise and his wife, Katie Holmes, in the news regarding his Scientology cult - now is the time to alert the public to these abusive acts towards children. Mike Butler is a scumbag for what he has done to Tulsi and his other children.
